Changes about wings makes for more overtaking, that's good for a spectacle. I'm not saying F1 should be slower, but I'm just stating that these rules push engineers to bring out more from less while still being that fastest automotive sport. Agree?

3. No type of engine is a symbol for F1. F1 is about pushing boundaries, not stereo-typical make everything huge and more powerful.

4. F1 used 4 cylinders in the past, before V10 and long before V8 and I am telling you, those were a lot more powerful, 1000+ HP.

Blown engines are heaps less fuel efficient than naturally aspirated ones, in my opinion. It'll be very interesting to see how they get around the hurdles of smoothness and efficiency, I'm betting that the cars powered by these new turbo fours will be slower than today's cars even if they have more power because of their peakiness. Metallurgically getting materials and a design to stand up to the rigors of a formula one weekend will be almost insurmountable. Its not worth it.

What we need, is Kimi Raikkonen to explain the 2011 rules: return of manual gearboxes, removal of all electronics, removal of all engine restrictions, and only required thing is saftey. For example just making the cars bigger can give room for bigger turbocharged engines, simple aerodynamics and bigger crush areas, and formula 1 will be back in its former glory.
