The Dog would just stop you dying altogether since you'd essentially live forever and remain with youthful energy forever (your body would still age though).

The Rat could POSSIBLY reanimate you if you died...but likely as a walking corpse or something similar. To be fair it only really has effect if - like Shendu - you need it to reanimate a stone body to flesh.

actually, he is just a statue, he would have power as to the same as the god but not the strength, his power would be only as strong as the rat talisman, as with a previous episode lo pei's statue was brought to life his power was greater only due to the fact that he had powerful scrolls.
