  • i'm shocked....im a songwriter too....if anyone stole from me i would kill them

  • VIVA IL "PLAGIARISMO" ZEPPELINIANO!

  • Led Zep - history's most overpaid, overhyped cover band.

This is why, when the old Sabbath vs. Zep debate kicks in, I just walk away laughing. One band was creating the future while the other was merely rehashing the past. When it wasn't stealing it's entire premise from The Jeff Beck Group's Truth.

Funnily enough, Metallica has often been called a 'latter day Led Zeppelin' (mostly talking about their influence), and they're a bunch of thieves, too.

  • My 2 favorite band are The Beatles & Led Zeppelin but this puts The Beatles on top.

  • lots of bands steal stuff here and there, but led zepplin stole 80% of their songs -__- i don't hate the songs, i actually think they're okay, but it bugs me when a band that didn't write the song gets all the credit for it. i also kinda think they're a bit overated, but whatever.

  • Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of this is that even if Led Zeppelin credited every artist for each "liberty" they took they'd have still made millions. I don't understand why they wouldn't have and instead had to pay legal consequences. Fairly lame if you ask me.

  • @ed0uble Not to mention the millions the artists themselves - many still living and with a career in decline - might have made. That many of these artists were living in near squalor for decades waiting for a settlement or judgment that may never arrive while some Limey dick is walking around like he wrote YOUR song is almost too much to think about.

Willie Dixon's case was particularly predatory. JP would ply him with his favorite chemicals and have him play a 'private concert'.

  • The title..Hats off to Roy Harper... should give you a clue.

  • Show me something that is truly original. Do you really think they would do so much of this and think no one would know? Of course not. It was there interpretation of the music. They never tried to hide it or cover it up. Wow what a revelation!! Not!! We all knew and we don't care because they did it well. It makes me laugh today when young people say"did you hear .....new song and they are too young to realise that it has been done a dozen times before.

    Nice try.

  • Wow. I had always heard that Zep took a lot of "artistic license" but this is really bad. I had no idea. I am seriously depressed right now as these guys were my childhoos heroes. Dont get me wrong, I still think they are an amazing band but this shines another very unflattering light on them. I will never look at Plant, Page, Bonham and Jones the same. Have to go now. I need a drink.

  • THANK YOU for this work Clashboy. You're a musician's champion. That 138 "dislikes" just means 138 people didn't bother playing it through because it's indisputable and indefensible what LZ did on the backs of others. Hard to believe it was this egregious isn't it?

  • Proof that BLACK SABBATH owns Zep

  • @1:17 The riff in "Whole Lotta Love" is Muddy Waters' "Mannish boy (I'm a Man)" sped up.

  • WOW, this is eye opening for me, Zep is one on my (if not my) favorite band on all time. This info really makes me sad, blues is my favorite music of all, but I must say, I am very uneducated about its origins, dont know that many of the real blues players very well, but learn a little more about them each day, shame on you Zep for not giving props, this would not fly today, someone would be paying out big dollars,

  • Wow, Zeppelin was a dishonest band. They lied to make a bunch of money.

  • SADLY, this happened a lot more than you think in music back in the day...and still today.

  • @sirico2

I don't think you can find a worse group for this than Zep. It's one thing to lift a riff here and there, or a bit of melodic line, but a lot of these examples are the whole package straight from the source.

  • No it wasn't paying homage to their blues favorites. If they had truly respected those artists they would have made clear that these song from those artists. And of course it's disrespectful. What if you painted a picture or wrote a song that you were really proud of and then some one simply stole it made it more famous, made loads of money, and were so enamored with the original that they lied about its author and origins and took sole credit for themselves. I dont think you'd be so forgiving.

  • Why would you make this video not available for mobile?

  • people did that all the time back then, study up on your blues and rock, youll realize 20 people have made the same songs, while still have their own originals that others also took and remade, its what they did, its part of the blues, and it wasnt disrespectful, it was paying homage to the artists riffs or lyrics, come on...how many blues songs sound the same...there are a shit ton

  • @wheresmywhiskey198 it's wrong now and it was wrong then when you rip off somebody else and claim you did it. "Homage" my ass.

  • all the plagiarism led zeppelin did, they didnt control who wrote the credits, and a lot of people forget that in blues a lot of shit was plagiarized, but it wasnt taken as that back in those days, it was more an homage to those who wrote it, that being said, led zeps truly original stuff is still worthy of their rock gods status

  • white bands stealing music from black artists...what else is new?

  • Led Zeppelin: one of the finest cover bands of all time.

  • I thought watch your step sounded more like One Way Out by the Allman brothers. good stuff

  • lol, I wonder if Zep's supporters would still be feeling the same way if they wrote a song that someone else took and made oodles of cash off of, while they're still living in the poorhouse.

  • I want this man to be my lawyer

  • I now know who Bukka White is and I wouldn't have known otherwise. Credit where credit is due but what the fuck - if anything else Led Zep produce the best compilation albums ever known!

By the way (not showing off) but my Dad is the drummer (Dave Housego) who played with Jimmy Page Aged 14 ( see clip on YouTube) in Epsom and still keeps in touch with him and at the time played 'The Cotton Song' - an original song from the South London suburbs ( I don't think)............Just enjoy the music!

  • zeppelin is koo but sorry SABBATH#1

  • Black man is used to being abused and stolen from since day 1.The arabs, asians, whites all did it to them.

  • Ok, whit that logic every composer after Bach should pay him for using a fugue.

Mozart, Beethoven, Hindemith, Shoastakovich.... come on.... :) what's the point of this video? We know all this... They are a great band :)

    No hard filings..

P.S. Pay to Africa for drums and rhythm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • there's nothing you can say in defense fact is Zep's greatest hits were rip-offs

  • Comment removed

  • @jayrockwell33 **improvements. all bands use influences.. and the majority of these are from led sep 1 and 2.. when they had been together about a month.. they were just recordings of their jams and experiments. They made it sound good.. and people liked it. You can't fault them on the fact that they sound amazing.. they were just improvising. When they recorded all these - they didn't know they would become big.. so they didn't credit them on the original albums. Fame crept up on them.

  • @06mgibson sure, fine. but you still can't escape the fact that their greatest hits were not all there own. i'm the biggest zep appreciator, just saying - that theres nothing you can say - fact is the took and did not credit their sources.

  • lets torrent

  • I found out when I was a teen, and brought one of their albums home and played it, and my dad said, "that sound like one of Muddy Waters old songs". I still like Led Z a lot, but they definitely should have given credit where credit was due!

  • i wanna cry...this is like finding out at the age of 50 that your sister is yor real mother

  • its like finding out Micky mantel corked his bat..lol....knowing this im not listing to them any more fucked that.

  • So was Led Zep a COVER BAND?Is that why they never released nothing good after they broke up?I really love(d) Zep,but i thought they made most o f their music, not stole.Damn I wish I never saw that fuckin video.

  • I'm Dissapointed

  • Ah even more !!! I knew of the Willie Dixon tune and that Percy directly copied Steve Marriott almost note for note. Why didn't they just give credit where it was due ? I loved this band in my teens now i just think that they ( Page and Plant ) are just common thieving magpies as was described by page when his black beauty was nicked. Shameful Koont's are they says Yoda ! Fuckin Wankin Losers . . .

  • moby dick was not plagiarized from the song shown in the video. there is albert king song (i think it is albert king) that has the *exact* riff that moby dick is taken from.

  • @OceanderTethyseus No Moby Dick is taken from some old Yardbirds song

  • Hendrix did Killing Floor too. But I'm sure sum1 already said it.

  • Being a giant rock n roll fan this is very depressing to know

  • Jesus.. they stole "since I've been loving you?" too????? fuck..

  • Moby Grape: "working from 11 to 7 every night oughtta make life a drag". Led Zeppelin: "working from 7 to 11 every night really makes life a drag". DIFFERENT! Just kidding. Wow, man...

  • Listen to Captain Beefheart!! Roots in blues, but no imitations...

  • @clashboy1977 I have one.

Check John Lee Hooker I'm bad like jesse james(MAKE SURE ITS THE ALBUM ONE NOT LIVE)You might recognize the opening of it ITS THE RIFF TO WHOLE LOTTA LOVE.

Also Have a listen to david clayton thomas BRAINWASHED

    Make another video.

I'm a huge Zeppelin fan (And clash fan as it happens)And I would like more people to Kknow about this. Electric ladys version of killing floor Jimmy Copped the Solo FOR lemon song.

  • i have a question. If a band comes out and does DAzed and Confused, but decides to credit Jake Holmes, what would happen? It would be an interesting case.

  • this is theft. plain and simple. shame on Led Zeppelin, et al.

  • OMG...these guys are DISGRACE.

  • @kildare97 Have you taking your meds. Does your mom know you're using her computer to say such things?

  • About Lemon Song I think Led Zeppelin got through easily with Johnsson's part because he couldn't sue them because died in 1937 (probably poisoned by a Zeppelin groupie's ancestor :-)

  • @yepheth And because johnson stole that himself

  • @kildare97 maybe, but there 's not one evidence from that on the contrary from Led Zep....One thing is to record an obscure song (traditional?) in the late 30s and make it quite well known amongs musicians. One thing is to listen that song on vynil 30 years later and record it again by stealing credits...Just "A-La-Page" way. I don't think Eric Clapton behaved so with that old stuff - respect. But the explaination stays probably in the name itself of the band ...something like a "Big Joke".

  • I think its just plain arrogance. You can cover, sample, improve, make better or whatever excuse you want to use for stealing as long as you have permission and pay for the right to do so. Most artists rather claim ownership than pay upfront for the rights, because if the song is a bust they just wasted their money, but if the songs is a hit they would rather wait and see if anyone notices. Just sad.

  • It's one thing to be influenced by other artists, it's another to steal songs word for word, note for note. What a bunch of hacks. They're nothing more than just a good cover band.

  • I don't like the way it is... professional dirty bitches in the rocknroll

  • a grand majority of the originals are much more enjoyable to hear than led zeppelin's takes on them.

  • @meddle other way around

  • this is so sad :( , theres so many black artist that no1 knos about , yet there songs are all over ...

  • @peeblesj1131 the truth must hurt if this video is annoying to you it is good to know that a real zeppelin fan can admit the band ripped off a few old blues tunes

  • Love this. Did you know about Zeppelin's rip off of Johnny Winter's riff "I'm Your's and I'm Hers" ? For "Traveling Riverside Blues" which they credited as a Robert Johnson cover but I was wondering if you left it out for some reason, cause the riff is clearly from Johnny Winter's song recorded about three months earlier than theirs. Rolling Stones even do a cover of it for Brian Jones' death live.

  • Interesting video. Give credit where credit is due.

  • Man I have been depressed all day and now you lay this s@#t on me! Crap : (

I knew they did a couple songs but this! so upsetting!!

  • For anyone interested, the man that Jimmy copied practically note for note on guitar was none other than HUBERT SUMLIN. The guy is a monster guitarist, and is still playing!!!!!

  • I never knew that they copied a lot of others music, I understand being influenced by others, how much did they really write?

  • @davidoffon

NOOOOO, I think jimmy & co., were away with the fairies when they thought they could get away with pulling the stunts they did.

  • @desperatleyseekingap Are you stupid? Muddy Waters was highly influential and would still be recognized without Led Zeppelin. Get that cock out of your ass.

  • @Beerad13 .........Wow dude....how do you come from a music discussion .....to sticking a cock into an ass?!?!?!? what's on your mind? I guess the facts speak fort hemselves. There's alot more of you fag buttfuckers nowadays, which is a good thingin a way, at least you can't procreate. fuckin faggot, you'll be extinct soon.

  • LOL, it cracks me up with all the comments made from people who simply can't accept the fact that LZ stole so much stuff it's beyond ridiculous.

    You can't change fucking facts.

  • led zep is just a glorified cover band

  • @Shackybone

You have not got a clue of what you are talking about, Hendrix was the Greatest exponent of the Electric guitar ever.

  • @Dan7yeah All those bands GAVE credit. Zeppelin just said they wrote all this which clearly they did not.

  • also the beautiful "gallows pole" was taken by Leadbelly

  • @RippoTheWane Leadbelly is not the writer of that song. That song is hundreds of years old....all blues artists borrow from previous works.

  • Wow, Robert Johnson wrote a naughty tune! Wonder if any white folk who heard it back then knew what he was singing about?

  • WOW, I feel like I got kicked in the nuts!!! I love Led Zeppelin to the max and was aware of the plagiarism on the first album, but had no clue it went as far as this. I still love the group but can see why they are disliked by the industry and other artist so much. :(.................

  • wow, must have been a very exciting time to see if your songs would be on the new Zeppelin album each new year

    ;)

  • Great Players lousy writers it seems...oh well.

  • JP is well you already know. Not very original.

  • its like finding out 9/11 was an inside job lol

  • wow fuck jimmy paige

  • @TheJimmypage44 Dazed and Confused? Babe I'm Gonna Leave You? Listen, no one's attacking Led Zeppelin's skills. All we're saying is that they're plagiarists. There's a difference between altering and ripping off and Led Zeppelin ripped off little known musicians. You listen to the lyrics and melody of the Muddy Waters song, and then Whole Lotta Love and you tell me with a straight face that they altered that enough to not have to owe credit?

  • @jackiechampion

copying style and being inspired is okay.

    but stealing - not

  • wow, what is even crazier than led zeppelin getting away with thievery all these years is that there are die- hards on here (thejimmypage44 and vitakinesis (really hoping you're foreign and not retarded)) that just do not want to give it up. Zeppelin did some interesting things as a band, but taking so many wonderful pieces of music from relatively obscure musicians is unforgivable. Where has the press been all these years?

  • why whites always steal black`s stuff????

  • @TheJimmypage44 Re: public domain songs, they're called "Traditional", which means that nobody claims to have written it... well MOST people! When artists do traditional songs on albums they don't usually credit THEMSELVES with the writing of it! When The Rolling Stones did Motown covers they gave the writer his due. They did a cover of "That's How Strong My Love Is" which helped me and a lot of other white folks to discover Otis Redding! Zep just STOLE songs plain and simple: WATCH THE VIDEO!!

  • @tonguecrumb often however, no one knows for sure who wrote the song, and zeppelin almost always made changes to the songs, so what do they do, label public domain/page/plant? all they did was label it differently, which as far as i know isnt illeagal, and i did watch the video and commented on the fact that they didnt steal songs, at most they used the lyrics from public domain songs and credited it to themselves, i cant think of any instance where they used and entire song from someone else

  • @TheJimmypage44 You're crazy if you DID watch this video and STILL think they didn't steal anyone's songs? These videos clearly show many examples of Zep's rip-offs. I'm a musician myself, and I've always known that Zep stole stuff, but I had no idea it was THIS bad! I also think Zeppelin are WAY over-rated - except for John Bonham - he's still one of the BEST rock drummers EVER!! So yeah, if you want to defend them, go ahead, you just make yourself look ignorant in doing so. Check out SPIRIT!

  • @tonguecrumb you are making accusations that are way way out of proportion, now theres about 4 songs in all the "plagiarism" videos where MUSIC was lifted illegally, now lots of lyrics where lifted, that is what these videos show, as a musician you should understand that there are only 12 notes, and in a key you hardly use 7and obviously zeppelin was emulating alot of sounds, as the best musicians do, but stuffs going to overlap, riffs are going to sound similar at least

  • @vitakinesis The opening strains of Stairway were STOLEN note for note from the song "Taurus" by the american band called SPIRIT. Research it and you will be BLOWN AWAY by how good SPIRIT were and how Zep modeled their sound after them in a big way... check out SPIRIT's first album (1967), it ROCKS!!

  • stones forever your bastards! led is king of plagiarim

  • This is truly sad stuff... Jimmy Page has always been at the top of my list, now it seems he's just a fraud.

  • I knew they covered a lot of songs, but the fact that they never gave credit to the original artists upsets me.

  • This makes me so mad! I think I hate them now. What a shame!

  • This simply makes them overrated thieves then.

  • It's pretty simple: all Page had to do was credit the songs to their creators and he could have manipulated them all he wanted. He clearly was after song royalties and showed zero respect to the original songs' creators. And he paid for this in the long run and eventually was forced to give credit on the albums. Too bad his ego wouldn't allow him the be honest from the beginning. And now be is laying the blame on Plant for not changing the lyrics, as though that was all they "borrowed."

  • Boy, you have done a great service for the world. I have loved Zeppelin since I was a teenager, but this truly taints their genius. Paige has an ear for things, but all of these people should have received credit. It's so obvious. It's amazing how quiet this had been kept before the internet. I imagine the record companies had something to do with this. The truth's out now. Great job. Amazing!!!

  • The problem with Zepp is that they tried to pretend these songs were their own. Other artists who have "borrowed" chords and melodies (like Bob Dylan or Oasis) readily admitted their sources.

  • @9xMetalx9 Da fuck cunt did you not just listen to this video. irrefutable.

  • In the spirit of Zeppelin I am now going to steal their entire discography on The Pirate Bay. Good day all.

  • @mymovienerd already done lol

  • @mymovienerd lmfao!!!!!!!!!!

  • That Watch that Step riff sounds actually more like One Way Out by the Allman Bros. Band, and I am sure it is close to Moby Dick.

  • @dt089 i could not have said it better myself. i am 16. far too young to have seen zeppelin myself, but I have the same standpoint on it as you.

  • @valkour22 your an ignorant idiot. start practicing what you preach. if zeppelin fanboys are ignorant because the music is enjoyable to them and your bashing them for that, then your an ignorant jackoff. every stop worrying about plagiarism and bullshit. cause the music nowadays is just god fucking awful. at least this shit was decent. so stop worrying about stupid shit and go outside.

  • @clashboy1977 ...Stop bashing everyone who posts on your video's for one. two. i've seen alot of zeppelin plagiarism video's and your's has the most number of songs that sound nothing like the zeppelin recording. the rest is either completely ripped off/similair sounding but not stolen. so please don't act like you know everything about led zeppelin, you don't. these other guys here are just stating things and you say.

  • led zeppelin didnt steal songs intentionally they were just stupid aand didnt credit the originals

  • @MrAerosmith16 Oh for the sake of sweet baby jesus!

  • @punchpringle1 its true theyve unofficially credited the songs in live shows and stuff its just for some reason they never did it the way they were supposed to

  • they suxx dude . they couldnt come up with a tune of their own if their lives dependent on it. Im so tired of these zep fanboys that dont know jack about music defending a band thats proven to be nothing but a cover band. zep could tell all u fanboys the sun was purple and u would buy it lolol. Ignorant music for ignorant people.

  • You see the problem with what you're saying, is that sometimes Zeppelin would steal either lyrics, guitar licks, or some other similar aspect that identifies it with another song. If they were a cover band they would have had to COMPLETELY give credit to the other band. BUT from what i hear and see Zeppelin sounds completely different. And IF they did plagiarize, don't you think that legal action would have been taken against them during their career? Is it possible that your video is WRONG???

  • A lot of the songs they "plagiarized" are blues songs. A lot of classic rock bands (including Zeppelin) were influenced by blues music. The important thing is that Zeppelin was still able to add their own original quality to the songs and all 4 members of the band are very talented musicians.

  • @dt089 stfu ive been in the music bussiness quite a while and everyone in it knows the truth about led zeppelin that they are nothing but a cover band with no orginality of their own.AND JIMMY PAGE IS A SLOPPY GUITARIST LIVE, WITHOUT THE STUDIO WORK ON HIS PLAYING THE GUY SOUNDS LIKE CRAP.I SHOULD KNOW IVE SEEN HIM LIVE. led zep is a fing joke they are in the same class as milli vanilli

  • @valkour22 tosser

  • @deathzeppelin202 led zep suxx MILLI VANILLI HAS MORE TALENT!!!!!!

  • The Moby Dick connection is a bit of a stretch. It's a riff over a blues structure as a zillion other tunes are... if anything these vids show how sophisticated Zeppelin's roots are

  • What you Led Zep fans refuse to see is the difference between playing a public domain song and lifting everything from arrangement to lyrics of a living, working artist (at the time, that is), not to mention the fact that Page simply stole Bert Jansch's style of playing the acoustic guitar and played it on the electric. Deal with facts : LZ is a boring band that shamelessly stole songs from other artists and never gave them credit.

  • You've nailed it!!! Zepplin is Blues influenced band! The cats out of the bag now. Thanks for pointing that out. Thank god they added some balls and made it cool. And by the way, you're banned from listening to Zepplin ever again!!!

  • zep is THE All time rockin monster...but we all "stand on the shoulders of giants....

check out the violin orgasmic vocal crescendo on "judy in disguise" from the John

Fred and his playboys 1968 top ten tune, not to big of difference from the "whole lotta love" crescendo a year later...zep was just waaaayyyy more cool...

  • @dt089 It is never right to take others work and pass it off as your own. The Beatles, for example, covered many songs during their career, but none of them say they were written by them...

  • There would no controversy if LZ credited the people who originally wrote the songs and paid them due royalties.

  • This isn't just interesting, or unfortunate, this is theft. All those royalties never went to the authors. They should pay.

  • first of all whole lotta love was an old blues song re-worked and they said that

  • @vanhalenpwns no...they were sued over it!

  • @clashboy1977 ....Great comments here...Guitar Blues Legend Bobby Parker

  • @vanhalenpwns They said that AFTER they were sued...Zeppelin was a great band...I love em...but they ripped off many tunes from early blues artist and spend many a day in court over it. Thats poblic record. no denying it

  • @vanhalenpwns ya after thay were sued

  • Even though this video proves they were big rip offs I still love Collage Zeppelin.

  • original lz lyrics.. oh oh oh oh oh oh you don't have to go oh oh oh oh oh ....when I read the letter you sent me you made me sad sad sad when I read the the letter you made me mad mad mad . these lyrics remind me of jackson brown with the insight of jack johnson

the reason they write soooo good is because every member of the band is in on the scam .I mean creativity. when was the last time you saw every member of the group cashing in .I mean contributing to the writing r&r hall of shame

  • If you listen to " smile on me" from the Yardbirds " Little Games" then listen to" killing floor" by Howling wolf, same song !

  • This is a great compilation -- you did an awesome job.

Led Zeppelin are clearly just a bunch of plagiarists, sadly.

  • @JuanMcCane Zep definitely should have given royalty payments to all who wrote the lyrics or in some way wrote the music or contributed to it.

  • @AJ12112 They gave lots of lip service (helped with their image and hip factor) but not any royalties or songwriting credits. Almost every European artist who came to fame in the mid to late 60 was heavily influenced by American blues. In fact, most of them learned how to play their instruments by listening to these records. What's really pathetic is that many of these blues artists died broke and in relative obscurity while Zep went on to a very wealthy future

  • I find it funny that its ok for a "legendary" band to cover songs but when a modern band does it everyone wants to bitch and moan

  • @xebec30 he's an overrated sack of shit.

  • @nets09876 : Stairway to Heaven was lifted from a song by Spirit - you can find the evidence here on Youtube.

  • The Robert Parker 'Watch Your Step' riff is almost exactly the same as the riff to 'One Way Out' (by Willie Cobbs, I think; covered by the Allman Brothers). Wonder which one came first? The Robert Parker record was very popular among Brit 60s musicians, I remember an interview with Robin Trower in Guitar Player mag where he talks about how everyone loved that track.

  • Jimmy Page buys old blues 78s to see which Zep songs those guys will steal next!

  • Jimmy Page IS a great rock guitarist. Though not as good as Hendrix, for one, but he's in the top 10. By the way I think Mick Jones (Clash) based his whole look on Page- check out early photos. Same hair, gaunt appearance, pasty complexion and low slung guitar. Anyway ... clearly Zep stole. Whether they improved them is up to the listener. But without dispute they stole the basics of their songs. And I now notice how Plant also stole (or 'based') his phrasing & approach on Steve Marriott, heavily

  • @BobTheRecordGuy i'm sorry but how can he help if his hair is curly or has a past appearence? and what about when mick jones had short hair? and page was not the first guitarist to hang his guitar low!

  • @happyhour2012

    But EXACT lyrics?!?!

You can say that Zeppelin rocks, but to call them innovators.... I myself have had to re-examine that, after this

  • @thecomancheboy1

If I can get away with burglarizing your house, hats off to me.

  • I write songs for a publisher for a monthly salary in Nashville, and have a bachelor's degree in this field........... All but two if these examples are truly copyright infringement, in my opinion... ........SHAME, ZEPPELIN!!!

  • I lost all respect for Zep. I was such a big fan.... screw you clashboy...

  • It was probably pretty easy to steal music from black artists back then.

  • Of course they got away with this. thieves!

  • no song or creative musical idea or riff etc.. is ever mutually exclusive to the artist who writes and composes it. You can never own an idea but I do agree that you should be credited for it within the confounds of music as a " business" or " infrastructure" that allows you to earn a living off it .

I agree also that within this structure an artist should be able to persue for compensation if they feel agreived that another artist has borrowed material without permission.

  • Hats off to Led Zepp, if you can get away with it do it

  • they play blues. led zeppelin is a blues band they just transformed it into harder rock music. all blues songs are somewhat similar. so stop saying they were using peoples songs shut the fuck up, realize that you don't know a fucking thing about music, go back to listening to nickleback, and don't ever waste your time to listen to famous rock innovators like this band because you will never have appreciation for good music and only want to exploit its short comings. you guys are fucking idiots.

  • i learned in second grade you can't take somebody's words and call them your own

  • Thanks for posting this and revealing the extent of the plagiarism. They stole everything that wasn't nailed down. What a huge scam. We went nuts over Zep growing up and had no way of knowing.

  • oh ok so buy uploading this video you saying that Jimmy Page is NOT a great guitarists? oh yes why dont we just ignore the fact that he's influenced so many youngsters and so many guitartists.

  • @SuperMaria911 That fact has been ignored because it has nothing to do with the concise argument he's making that Zeppelin took credit for songs they didn't write.

  • @SuperMaria911 he's not a great guitarist. look how many people kurt fucking cobain influenced and he couldn't sing or play fucking guitar!

  • @clashboy1977

Kurt Cobain's songwriting is what got him famous, not his guitar playing.

Do you you think John Lennon became legendary just from his guitar playing?
