The problem with having a case while keeping out the state secrets is that, generally speaking, information in the case that may not actually be the state secret, could lead to a revealing of the state secret/s. Now in some cases this may not be true, but generally speaking, all precautions have to be taken in order to ensure security.
I don't think that having the government deal with it instead of the court system is a good idea, but the courts can't do it either. We need an alternative.

The problem with having a case while keeping out the state secrets is that, generally speaking, information in the case that may not actually be the state secret, could lead to a revealing of the state secret/s. Now in some cases this may not be true, but generally speaking, all precautions have to be taken in order to ensure security.
I don't think that having the government deal with it instead of the court system is a good idea, but the courts can't do it either. We need an alternative.

It's not as easy as just buying a few couple hundred dollar HD cameras. however if they made some kind of donation box to raise money for it I think people would be glad to help out

To make it HD, they would have to get HD equipment, both recording and processing equipment. More importantly, they would have to VASTLY increase their server space due to the size of the HD content. Three hours a DAY of HD? That will cost a lot more than the 1 million dollars worth of revenue will pay for.
I just want the mic volume was higher... It would cost some, but it's doable.
