Great version by Train. I just saw Robert Plant at the Hardly Stricly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco. Now I really I love "Ramble On". I was up on the hill there in Speedway Meadows where the acoustics were pretty good. Check out my video.

Surprisingly good. Train were really over hyped in the UK, and "Drops of Jupiter" was pretty poor. This is pretty damn good, not Zep, but very good.

@indagadavida Train goes way back and their music has adapted and evolved some over the years and that versatility you see here is always inside that band. They have the ability to cover almost any hit song through the years like no other band I've ever seen. They're great live and very entertaining on stage. I love alot of their old stuff along with their new. I'll always encourage any "new" Train fan to go back and research some of their older stuff. You might be suprised how much you like it.

I have enjoyed Trains music/vocals. Drops of Jupiter and When I look to the Sky are two of my personal favorites; my son passed away in 2006 at the age of 25, and these songs have helped me to endure and smile.

I have been a Led Zepplin fan for many, many years, and when I heard Train cover this song... It blew me away! I knew the lead singer could sing But he really busted this one out! Nicely done!

I heard ramble on from Train and thought: WOW GREAT! And suggested to play it with my Accoustic cover Band WOODSTUFF! And it's funny we made a MEDLEY of Whole lotta love and Ramble on! But in another way!

a fantastic interpretation and so funny in the middle; Lou Reed, what a difference to Led Zep!

.....I've listen to alot of music in my day and Ive heard plenty of bands but I have to say that Train is on of the most talented to come along in a long while and Pat is one of the best rock singer to come along since the 70's. He's been on my music radar for awhile and he never disappoints no matter what he sings...he is always a great on Howard Stern (his close friend) and he has a smokin wife.

@detroitli0n I encourage you to stop showing your ignorance and go back and listen to any of Train's first three albums dating back to the mid 1990's. The band has five studio albums and one live album. So again, if you able I suggest you go back and listen to any of their first three albums and then come back and tell me they have never had a rock song in their "existance." They're very versatile and some of their newer stuff is just a fraction of what they've done and what they're capable of.

I saw Train open for Matchbox 20 several years ago. Had no expectations, so I was COMPLETELY blown away when they did this song. I remember nothing about Matchbox 20, but have never forgotten the experience of hearing Train perform this song live.

Unfortunately I don't remember the Led Zep concert that well but I sure wish I did. About 35 years ago at MSG. Led Zep - my all-time favorite band and Train my current fave!
