No, it's definitely not real time. Each XFoil call takes at least a couple seconds (I give it a max of a minute) and there were I think about 50 XFoil calls per iteration for this case (25 particles with 2 XFoil calls each per iteration).
The code is written in Matlab. I've given out the code to a few people/groups already and wouldn't mind having it on your site. It looks like a pretty good resource but I don't know much about it.
Hi @montagdp, how long did it take for this 14 seconds video to be calculated? It wasn't realtime, was it? Because it needs a lot of xfoil calls :).
By the way is it your programme and is it OpenSource? It would be really great to hove such an application for aerospaceresearchDOTnet/constellation.
Perhaps you need some more distributed computing power!
It's a b-spline curve, which I think is a type of bezier curve.
