  • The one time you play an at least deascent song you turn it off!!!

  • Comment removed

  • If it were the neutral safety switch, it wouldn't turn over at all. A fuel or spark issue. Probably the fuel pump or crank position sensor.

  • and now im afraid if i buy a jeep like that its going to have that prob;lem

  • @zachmamaw Not if you take care of it. This Jeep has just gone through neglect throughout it's entire life which is a real shame. The engine in this Jeep is the 4.0L Inline 6 which is known to be one of the best engines ever made. They'll easily go for at least 300,000 miles if well cared for. It's truely been a bulletproof engine ever since it was introduced in the 80s. As for why this one won't start, it could be several things. The transmission will last too if you change the fluid.

  • @mhtube01 yeah, and the owner probaly reved it a lot to make the engine go bad

  • @zachmamaw Probably yes. If they new they had old, dirty oil in the engine, they probably revved it like crazy just to do some internal damage cause people out there are like that. If you see Kyle's old videos of this Jeep of when they first got it when the original engine had blown, they tried starting it up and believe it or not it started and ran!! It was very loud and it ran very rough but it ran continuously until they shut it off. That's a quality engine right there.

  • @mhtube01 but at least it cranked

  • @zachmamaw Yeah I wasn't saying anything against this engine cause it's the same engine as the original engine was. This one sounds like it has compression but something is preventing it from getting spark. It just keeps cranking and cranking but doesn't do anything so it sounds like it could be a switch but who knows. It would just be such a shame to see this Grand Cherokee's 2nd engine be blown too!! This car really has had nothing but bad luck with it's owners.

  • horn sounds catchy!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If it was the neutral safety switch it wouldn't crank.

  • @tank647 It was the neutral safety switch, fixed it and she's good as new

  • 5:05 IT'S A GHOST!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is it sad that this jeep is nicer than my 96?

  • Id like to see some of the night time start ups again.

  • Random cat! Love it! Meow! So cute!!

  • okay so this is a 2011 random cat, in this video i will give you an in depth tour of the cat, start her up show you some of the features on the interior as well as exterior of the animal ;)

  • LOL kitty?

  • Here Kitty!

  • The solution : cash for clunkers

  • Great car for cash for clunkers .

  • Sometimes u have to let it charge for a few mins when it's dead

  • Kyle, I think it is a safety switch that's preventing the engine from starting. A girl I know has an '02 Pontiac Grand Am that has some feature that prevents it from starting cause it thinks it's being hot wired! It's so weird cause the engine itself is fine and she's gotten stuck twice because of that switch preventing the car from starting. That engine sounds like it has compression but something it's not getting spark for some reason. Possibly lack of gas or it could be a switch.

  • You mentioned the neutral safety switch. I don't think that has anything to do with it not starting. I had one go out in my altima a while back. To my knowledge all that switch does is to prevent the car from being started in any gear other than neutral or park. I imagine if that switch was bad it wouldn't even turn over. Did you ever figure out what was actually wrong with it?

  • my friend had one and it did the same thing he don't have it anymore he junked it

  • DO U STILL HAVE THE 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee

  • car is posesed

  • bad battery

  • didnt this have a new trans put in it?

  • @metalmaniac622 it came back with a bad trans

  • yea this car has suffered the worst luck but the jeep needed gas in it or else it would've stood a chance at actually starting to the full update is not exactly complete yet...needs some gas in it

  • well my friend. all of your videos go ( to me it seems) perfectly. so you gotta have one problem child once in a while Eh?

  • Its two-wheel drive, which if you didn't know was an American option only, all off the ones sold here in Canada were 4x4 or AWD.

  • nice and cute thanks Kyle !

  • 3:09 Let's listen to some tunes!

  • @97regalbass yeah this one was one of the first ones i had seen as a subscriber. then i went back into the archives. there was a dealership one with kyles sister in it running camera?, someone made hte comment, " your sisters kinda hot kyle " lol

  • @yamahonkawazuki I remember that comment! Haha!

  • Kitten took all show for himself.

  • Three cars in one video, nice!

  • cute anding and cute cat :)

  • poor jeep... :(

  • The electronics in it won't run properly on low voltage. I've never been able to get a Jeep running from a jump pack ... always has to be jumped from another vehicle

  • funniest video

  • Cut cat .......o_O!!!!!

  • it's been 3 years already??

  • It's a real shame it ended up in such poor shape. Never had much use for anything Chrysler, but the Geand Cherokee was always a bulletproof vehicle.

  • I think it is really nice that you did an old school video, oh and i like the cat:)

  • lol I thought Italian cars are crap but this is even worse :P

  • Comment removed

  • THE ANTICHRYSLER

  • the surprise kitty at the end made up for the jeep not starting lol

  • Good old Chrysler.......

  • I'm no expert. But either computer problems, fuel pump or NO GAS!

  • i have a 98 grand cherokee and i can confirm that this jeep has computer problems because all jeeps that do this have a faulty computer unit.

  • Power issues and gauges are from the thermal disconnect at the fuse block getting hot from bad amp flow/heat. When power is lost on a Jeep it won't idle on it's own. You have to give it a LITTLE pedal at first and then the computer will figure out what temp, altitude, etc and "learn" to idle. If that doesn't work try starting fluid to see if the fuel pump died etc. If that doesn't work check for spark. If you have fuel pressure, but no spark and not injector pulse then you need a crank snsr.

  • LOL! This is like the only car that you do not like.

  • is a computer problem issues

  • 9:05

  • I still remember all that white powder and microwave in the back :D

  • that poor thing

  • Jesus. Don't check gas. Don't get a boost jumper. Assume tranny out, how without it running? Man , unreal.

  • i been wonderin where they took my damn jeep

  • my grandfathers 85 MB S class starts better than this car and he never uses it lol i think it was the lack of gas kyle

  • i never knew that old jeeps did those guage sweeps

  • great video. not that i dont like your current videos but i miss the old school saabkyle04. those old/used cars you had always caught my interest more than your fancy/luxurious car vids....keep up the good work tho :)

  • @saabkyle04 Is there a reason you still kept it in the lot for 4 months?

  • @Captainskier Oh, trust me, lol they neglected the hell out of it...But we had an engine with about 45,000 miles installed and so far, it's been almost 20,000 miles and we're happy! :D . . . Not a single problem so far, so...crossing our fingers. The Pacifica has always been and will forever be the my favorite car my family has owned. My friend has a Pacifica with the 3.5L V6 we have and he towed a Nissan Altima with nothing but a hitch and a transmission cooler (I think).

  • it looks good thanks kyle for the update the jeeps doing better i can say

but wont start up huh haah poor jeep

  • it showed that it had no gas in it...maybe put some gas in it and this will stand a chance..but this car has suffered alot

  • give it some gas maybe it will do something.

  • Maybe its cat car that died. =D

  • the original saabkyle04, oh I miss you :) I hope you will do a lot more of these "oldschool stuff" in the future, start ups/night start ups, lot updates etc. :) keep up the good work!

  • @gentle285

    i agree

  • KITTEH!!

  • That's it for this ol doggie. He's all washed up. Time to send him to the big ol junkyard in the sky yep.

  • I like the Grand Chero's, I owned a 96 myself but I will be the first to say that they are prone to issues. Even new they are known to be unreliable, but they are good rigs overall and great off road.

  • You sure the vehicle has gas in it?? :P

  • i guess u just have to leave it there for the moment since the transmission and mechanical stuff got wrong again. but the cat is really cute! :)

im a big fan of yours kyle, keep it up

  • Great memories of dead batteries, bullet holes, and miraculous transformations (from grungy to spotless). Thanks Kyle!

P.S. I think it's time to put a bullet in that Jeep!

  • Liked the cat but can u start doing your dads dealership again

  • At 5:58, that type of job needs two people. One person needs to sart the Roadmaster and rev it, while Kyle starts the Jeep. It should work.

  • Yea that engine has lost compression

  • Comment removed

  • "gauges are possesed" LMAO

  • The fish on the back is the problem

  • nice pussy

  • As for the engine, it sounds like it is knocking while it cranks, so it is probably blown like the last.

As for the gauges, it still has that twitching problem!? Wow...

  • Wow, I remember when you first made the videos about that Cherokee!

That Jeep keeps coming back like a bad smell huh ? Ha ha!

When the YouTube homepage loaded 5 minutes ago, I saw the screen shot of the Jeep, and couldn't believe my eyes!

I haven't seen that Jeep in a video since your last one it featured in back in 2009... How time flies when you make great videos!

I gotta say though, after sitting 4 months you got a starter motor click!? That is actually good after that long!

  • Did you try putting more gas in it? You said it could've been out.

  • der katzen

  • You sure there was enough gas in it? the gauge read way below E that might've been the problem :/.

As a Grand Cherokee owner myself I love that you brought us an update on this Jeep! Continue to do so please!!! I think the whole old saabkyle tribute thing is pretty cool you should do more.

  • LMFAO at the kitty footage ahhh takes me back to the good ole kyle days were it was hate free

  • We used to have a jeep just like that, just differnt colour. My moms 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee! =) Its the car i learned to drive in... it was nice...

  • How many miles on the Buick now?

  • flat tire :/ thats not good!

  • Roadmaster for the win! Careful though it sounds like that's the Mopar from Satan, don't want to curse your Roadmaster lol.

  • Linking to the Random Cattage, maybe you could send that Jeep to Davidsfarm :P

  • Comment removed

  • I remember that Jeep. SO underpowered. 4liter under 200 hp lol that's daimler chrysler for ya?

  • This video was hilarious...it takes just one bad owner to perminently screw up a car. Too bad.

  • you should of sprayed starting fluild in it i bet it would have started

  • Thanks for making this video Kyle. Ive been a long term subscriber since you started off at the dealership. I was pretty stoked when I saw the picture of that jeep you put on facebook lol. Awesome videos!

  • that was a very nice cat!

  • Today we have a review of this late model kitty....

  • Its a jeep it will always comeback stronger and harder. If it was another vehicle then it would've been dead!

  • for some reason this truck always falls into the hands of a bad owner

  • i have a '98 4x4 one of these. love it<3 better than half the new jeeps w/out all the technology.

  • 5:11 5:21 lol I wonder if the cat was meowing for food

  • is there va plates on it?

  • its like the demonic jeep from hell. notice the change in the horns pitch...lol

  • So, did your father's dealer ship sell this jeep already and did they return it because of issues?

  • @counkev it had a blown motor which they replaced which was really the only prob. back then. now its come back and the new owner didnt take care of it

  • Ah i remember how much garbage was in that thing.

  • I don't know why I found it so comical when I saw this Jeep pop up AGAIN. Nice to see your channel coming full-circle man, haha.
