Well Nistor did that skill way before Nastia and I don't know why the called it the Liukin, I think it's because Nastia peformed it during world before Nistor but I'm not sure so basecaly Nistor did it before her

It was called the Nistor. But Liukin performed hers in a pike and it was briefly named the Liukin in the code. As I understand it in the new 2009 cop such skills are no longer connected one but two skills so the 'Nistor' and the 'Liukin' have been eliminated. It's a shame really. It think it's a pretty move when performed well.

that doesnt mean anything. valeri was tied for gold and the two gymnasts were both given gold i think if im not mistaken also i talked with my dad and he said that most people thought nastia had a better chance at winning the gold medal than shawn. but both are great gymnasts and always will be
