I got a strat and a Gibson Les Paul and I'm bored with the Strat, considering selling it. It doesn't rock hard enough. I used to kid myself thinking I was a versatile guitarist. I'm just a hard rock guitarist and the strat doesn't have that "oomf" I need. Can't beat the sustain of a Les Paul I reckon. Coupled with a wah and a Marshall and away you go!
I wonder how this music will sound on a Red Special and an american metal dist! perfect combination Queen-Europe xD. Amazing. Guitar gods May and Norum!!! what do you think?

My guitar gods are sligthly different from yours I think, but that's cool. I think this would sound rad with a Les Paul and a Cry Baby.
Personally, I like Gary Moore (more his style than his music actually), Zakk Wylde, Dimebag... But I like Slash too, although I wouldn't call it a guitar god. And Eddie Van Halen, Norum (again more his style than his music) and David Gilmour. I wouldn't like to see him on anything but a Strat. I like May too, but his sound borders on synthesiser at times...
@rickdafrog Gary Moore was able to make a Strat rock like it was not supposed to. Norum is able to extract some very thick sounding leads from a Strat as well. Listen to the live version of Europe's Wings Of Tomorrow 1986 for example.
there is one guitar who kicks both (gibson and strato). The Legendary ONE and unic, for me in sound and effects, harmonies and everything. Red Special shuts up every single guitar in this planet. I have proved myself by listening. many users playing that, it's actually a dream must be really most confortable neck and body. I like gibson and strato but the one I'm mentioning blows up.

yeah, has test a washburn X50. It sounds great! Especially with the seymour duncans! And its not an "rob a bank to buy" guitar. I have a strata 60s anniversery. And with a seymour duncan minibucker called cool-rails in the bridge. It sounds great with a tube amp and has the smothest and most comfterboul neck ive ever played on
nevermind yeah exactly th washburn guitats are very good quality build for a affordable price comparing to some other ones.and wow you a lucky got a 60s anniversary strat i tried to play it in a guitar shop wauuuuuuuuu great playable guitar i get me a esp or LTD next time sounds great too like george lynch played some of them.keep rockin buddy
