Have just been recruited as a light man by some friends calling themselves Five Man Floyd(Syd era stuff). They've already ordered two projectors so I'm behind the curve already. Any direction anyone can give me on gettin them bubbles on the run will be greatly appreciated! Five Man Floyd has a FaceBook and Myspace page and will be hitting the stage late Spring in Massachusetts USA. They are all dedicated seasoned musicians who love to play. I once saw a band called HyperDrive use an overhead projector, a clear glass dish, and colored fluids to create a similar effect. The woman running the rig simply added different colors while carefully swishing the glass dish around on the projector surface. The downer was her hand created a big shadow that was also projected onto the screen.
Overhead projectors are the kind you've probably seen at school that uses clear sheets of plastic to cast an image or text onto the wall.
I have the American DJ Groove Wheel, and it's about 5 years old. Being that it's so old, the color isn't as vibrant as it should be. Is there any way to make the oils brighter or anything?
