Saleen is not associated with Ford due to the fact that Saleen is an INDEPENDANT company and is NOT OWNED by Ford. Saleen is the American version of RUF which RUF(a German Manufacture) takes Porches and make the cars from Porsche to RUF which the cars are no longer Porches, just RUF.
