@HomestarRunner20X6 Not necessarily. It works on everyone, though I really wasn't thinking about character height when I made this video. Although it is alot harder to do with skinny characters who have small hitboxes lying down.

these videos are cool and all but they need a disclaimer. this is for fun or use on retards. none of these combo videos are useful vs anyone with common sense. To be honest if you're caught in a srs combo on a game like brawl where you pretty much dodge anything by rolling air dodging or even ground dodging or counter attacking....pretty much useless.... unless it's a lvl 1 cpu...

I don't get what your saying though. Jab locks in brawl are inescapable and nothing in this setup is avoidable other than the initial hit. Retard or not, if a player knows what they're doing, your not getting out of one. So I would think this would qualify as a serious combo above anything else.

The only part that can be blocked is the bomb. If you're hit, the footstool can't be avoided and its a guaranteed Dair or jab lock.

@Linkforce088 there is 1 more thing that can be evaded and that is the finisher (if charging).

as soon as u charge to short it wont hit properly or to long u can be interupted by the standup attack. correct?

@Lthegazerocker Personally, I wouldn't ever use spin attack anymore. Its horrible. I would just charge fsmash.

Also, after a jablock the opponent's character is forced to do a regular get up if done properly. So they can't stand up attack or roll away. The only time you'll miss is if you try to hit them during their invincibility frames or if you charge too long and allow them to shield.

It can show itself in different situations. For instance, say Link was just knocked into the air by Snake's Utilt, Link pulls a bomb and either Z-drops or throws the bomb down (depending on how high he is) then he footstool's Snake on his way down and initiates the jab lock with a Nair. It could also be initiated in the delay of a grab, or you could jump out of a shield to bomb them. The hardest part of this is short hopping the footstool. If you full jump you can't FF the Nair fast enough/

Adding to what ShadowCosmos said, its also a good out of shield option if your holding a bomb. And he's right, the hardest part is the footstool, because aome characters are to flat too get hit by FF Nair effectively.

Sweer I do something a little bit different but the begining is the same, bomb in hand I shorthop, down throw, Nair, FF, A, A, Fsmash, this is my little 6 hit combo the thing is that I think it is scapeable and only works at 0%, tell me your opinion Linkforce088

This depends too much on the way they DI.

You can't predict that the person will always DI a certain way so you can foot stool them.

I already tested DI'ing out of this a while back.

The truth is, the distance the bomb sends you before you get footstooled is so minuscule that it really doesn't matter which way you DI.

Also, the bomb doesn't send you flying up, so its impossible to DI in any direction other than away from your opponent.

Unfortunatly no, the only way I usually get practice is local tournaments and online matches, most of which I can't record.

(Plus pulling anything like this off online is kinda hard. For me at least)

This. This is win. I'm working on integrating it into my playstyle. Also, you don't really have to SH it to start it, as long as you have the right height you can do it. I've almost landed the entire combo on people while returning from the air. :D Also, if it doesn't have an official name yet, I vote we call it Bombstoollocking. :D

Thanks for the info. You've probably seen Deva's new vids but I find it fascinating that he sticks almost completely to the basics when he was fighting the top Snake/Metaknight guy. No jab locks, craq walking, etc. I didn't even see a single jab cancel, he used aaa quite a lot against snake.
