@laxcrack25 It's about heroin addicts going through their addictions together, but the other isnt doing too well. Most of the revealing parts of the poem come at the end. "but these track marks are 100 proof"...the fire is the addiction. she is the house. songs being sung I'm guessing is stories shared in group. He hopes her death will bring him to sobriety.

Thanks to Twloha for showing me this. At first I wasn't sure how I felt about this song, but I wasn't sure I liked it. I started to listen more and more to the lyrics and to the message and slowly it grew on me. And suddenly, when my head was clear of the negative thought's I'd had before about myself, this song hit home and really stuck through my heart. Now it's stuck forever. And I love that it is.
