sly stone was the first real live concert i went to when i was 11 year old. my brother took me to the show at the blackhawk stadium in chicago in the 70's .... it blew my mind as a kid.. and i love my brother and sly stone for that great memory........ mike von bach
Yeah love Sly too. but he is a shadow of himself. I think if the band helps him out and they get better coordination with him they might be able to tour. I am also praying Sly can bring his game up a little just so he will not appear pitiful.
The man deserves much respect and I would love to see but not pity him. God Bless you Sly!
It's a shame, he got strung up like he's now, but paradoxally without the drugs he wouldn't be the guy that changed the face of music for the last 3 decades.
Sly is the real daddy of all soul/funk/blaxploitation of the seventies, and Prince in the eighties and nineties, without him this had never be born.
Best for him to retire now before it is getting worse.
Love him, and never forget his life was one of the most useful for music ever, his life truly had sense!
There was another video of him singing If You Want Me Stay In Tokyo 2008,,, what happened to that one... i watched it at least hundred, times ,, this one he forgot most of the words ....Where's that one ...There Was A Bad Bass Line and everything.... WHY
VERY NICE! LEGENDARY MAN, LEGENDARY SONG!
