I've been using his lines to time my Squares; usually right after he finishes saying his line, you hit the HP attack.

I cant even get the timing down for the first hit. He does his two kicks then i miss it but then i get it in his second set of kicks. Does this matter?

Is it just me, or are Jecht's combos harder to time in the first Dissidia Final Fantasy game? I think it's better to master him in the first game first. The Ultimate Jecht Shot combo is waaaaaaaay harder to do before. :)
