It was a bit overdone... but anything that can get Bill Irwin, Anne Deavere and Debra Winger infront of a camera as well as showcasing the talents of Anne Hathaway and an obvious marvelous supporting cast... Jonathan Demme could have done at lot worse.

I almost overdosed om multi-culturalism watching this movie. This movie is so amazing. So much emotion,pain,conflicting moods and deep love. it's just an amazing movie. This movie simply slaps anyone who in the face who isn't enjoying life, and their family to the fullest

Words can not express how much I hated this film. The longer it went on the angrier I got. BORING BORING BORING!!! I wanted a safe to fall on my head.

a lot of people didnt like it
but if u have patience like me then this is a great film
rlly dramatic and anne hathway was abosoluetly amazing...i was at the brink of tears a lot
