OHS is one of the best run humane organizations, dare I say non-profits, I've ever encountered. Adopted a puppy almost 12 years ago there and she's happily still with us! Great job OHS!

volunteer at the oregon humane society, its great fun. I volunteer with the cats and I love it. Not only am i helping animals but im having lots of fun.

yeah man i used to work at the pound, 2 1/2 years of back-breaking teenage labor for free..it was the best job i ever had, the hard-ass work was well worth it, rewarding, espicially when i got to see the animals i worked so hard taking care of and loving find a home. strangely enough, i loved being a kennel attendant. cleaning cages was no problem.

good to see other people like volunteering at shelters too.
