  • wow. your accent is lush? what is it?xx

  • Your accent is actually pretty good :)

(until you said the word author :P)

  • i liked ida b in the beginning, but towards the end, it got pretty boring for me. i wuda liked a few more chapters with ronnie in it:)

  • Ida B was a great book for me! I just loved it! :)

  • ahaahha your american accent sounds fake and your british one sounds legit. hahah:)

  • There's Manchester in your voice, such as the way you say "loved". Odd mix.

  • I love Ida b. Used to be my fave book. Now it's mysterious Benedict society triology. Good reviews and stuff!!!

  • i loved this lullaby :)

  • ida b is super good!

  • Hey i can tell your accent is fake. In times you forget your accent and talk in american and i can tell thats what you think an english person talks like kinda posh but i can assure you no english person really talks like that maybe except the queen or something.

  • wow books, i don't read much but like to get read to

  • I read the sisters mortland and thoroughly enjoyed it

  • Uh? When did Harold Bloom write Catcher in the Rye? Harold Bloom is a wonderful pragmatic / aesthetic literary critic who probably wrote the introduction to or criticism of your Catcher in the Rye, which is J.D. Salinger's. As for the reading list, just get yourself some Tolstoy, Chekhov, Melville, Goethe, Flaubert, Dostoevsky, Steinbeck, Faulkner, Orwell, Grahame, Dickens and a bit of the bard. Can't go wrong.

  • But I don't think she meets Dexter at the wedding

  • I have to read Ida B.

sum one said it was good . soo i really

    DONT KNOW

  • i read ida b. its really good... im reading it AGAIN!! lol

  • i read..well actually have perks of being a wallflower and i really like it. :]

  • I love this lullaby <3

  • the accent is nauseatingly fake. get over it.

  • ???

  • are you in drama? keep working on the accent, its decent! sounds alot like lindsay lohan in parent trap :)

  • typical failure of a British accent that is clearly fake. gross.

  • I've read This Lullaby, just finished actually, and I really like it :] I've also read A northern light by Jennifer Donnelly and I really love it!

  • There were only two books that I know from your book reading it list. One of them is Hoot by Carl Hiaasen. And, I'm pretty sure that you're going to love it because I did. It is now a movie so you could search it on the web or at a store. The next one is Enna Burning by Shannon Hale. I absolutely love that book so much. Too bad that none of the series are going to be in a movie because I think that would be quite interesting.

So, I think that you are going to like Hoot and Enna Burning.

  • I think that's her book reading voice...

  • boy is your accent cute...where are you from? southy brit'?

  • america, actually! (:

  • ahh i c...so is it legit?

  • my british accent? no, i have an american accent. :P

  • read vampire academy by richelle mead

  • i am younger than u and i love IDA B SO MUCH

  • OMG! READ Forever...By Judy Blume! It's soooooo good!

Well, If you don't mind Reading about sex... it's strange, and so not something i thouht JUDY blume would write about!

But it is a good book.

  • I LOVE Sarah Dessen (: Someone Like You was really good too!

  • accent sucks. like a lot.

  • eh i didnt like "The Curious Incident..." maybe cuz i had to read it for english lol

But i had to read "Sold" by Patricia McCormick as well, and i really liked it

  • not to be rude but in the lullaby remy doesn't meet dexter in a wedding the meet at her soon to be father work in a car dealership place once again not to be rude

  • The accent is obviously fake. *cringes*

  • i'm sorry but that english accent really isn't anything like the english accent, i'm not trying to be mean but like owen in just listen by sarah dessen i am just being truthful ect. wat makes me angry is wen people r like how do u no if it sounds like the english accent, i am english, its good that ur trying but its nothing like the english accent, ive never heard anyone speak that that

  • is your accent real? Lol

  • OMG! i thought you were really british!!

i can't believe you were faking it! it was so good. lol, oh and about the books

I love your choice in books!

this lullaby and forever are some of my favs!

and i'm deff. going to be reading some of the one's on your list.

thankz for such an awesome vid. lol

    =D

  • me too!! it was crazy!! i acually thought she was faking the american accent

  • haha, you guys are silly. n_~

  • your only accent flaw would be that you said 'author' like a brit says 'arthur' it threw me off :)

  • Oh dearrr, I'll have to work on that.

    XD

  • If you don't actually give up on Catcher in the Rye, you're a dumbass.

  • oops, i posted too soon. haha

i wanted to add that green angel is my favorite book out of all of the books i've ever read.

i love the way it's set up, i love the story, the struggle, it's amazing.

and i liked the tigger "ttfn, ta ta for now" little bit at the end. =]

  • i loveeee tigger.

    :]

  • i'm reading This Lullaby right now! i love it so far. i'm at the part where Remy realizes it's Dexter at the wedding.

  • i lvoe sarah desson as well...have you read that summer?

  • I have! It was actually the first book I ever read of hers. It holds a special place in my heart. :]

  • my first of hers to!youll love forever by juby blume..

  • 1.Why not do longer review of Curious Incident? 3.Mark Haddon lives in Oxford like me! 5.What accent is that?

  • Maybe I will! Cool! And, British. :]

  • I would recommend reading Twilight!

It's not exactly the best writing I've ever read, but I still love it!

I know there's a lot of hype around the series right now.. but I would love to hear what you have to say about it!

  • I actually got asked about Twilight in my Q&A vid and went off on a tangent while answering so, stay tuned for that! Thanks for your comment and curiosity! :D

    <3

  • I loove the Goose Girl! v. good book. I keep meaning to read Princess Academy aaand I think I'd like to read This Lullaby, after your review!

I'm also reading The Time Traveler's Wife atm.. love it!

  • COOL!

Yeah, Princess Academy is my favourite of the two. :]

  • I liked 13 Little Blue Envolopes, but just because you didn't like it don't give up on Maureen Johnson. I liked Girl at Sea much, much better.

Also, This Lullaby was amazing. As all Sarah Dessen books. :) My favorite by far is Just Listen, though.

  • I won't, she's Maureen Johnson! lol.

YES! She writes so lovely. <33

  • the time travelers wife is my favorite booko of all time

and i dont even like to read

    because of that book

i want to read more great books

  • That's awesome! I can't wait to read it, then! :]

  • hey

ive been getting really bored with life lately

and im gonna go buy some new books to fix that boredom of mine

was wondering if u have other books that u would advise to read

  • your accent had be so fooled. I try a british accent fairly often and everyone tells me it's bad. I apparently can't tell the difference. haha awesome reviews too. -tony of WMRR

  • Haha, some days are "on" days some days are "off" days for me. XD Thanks!

  • Correction: Harold Bloom is a literary critic. Yeah, he wrote a sequel to "A Voyage to Arcturus", but it went to Hell in a handbasket--forget that it even exists.

Anyway, you seem to be interested in science-fiction. Check out these authors: Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, Robert A. Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Ursula K. Le Guin, Phillip K. Dick, Frank Herbert and Stanislaw Lem.

The other novels I have in mind might not appeal to you. Oh well, life goes on.

  • thanks for your picks

    i needed some new books!

you should definitely read twilight as well

its highly addicting and probably the best book ever lol

    btw love your accent :)

  • I did! I didn't loveeee love it, but that's okay. It was a good book. n_n I still have to read the others. Thank you and you're welcome!

  • The Perks of being a wallflower and Looking for Alaska are my favorite books! Well picked.

  • I'm excited!

  • Nice accent. lol. I think you will quite enjoy "Catcher in the Rye."

  • Ha! Thanks, I kind of fail, though. ;] Yeah, me too.

  • ooh i love the curious incident of the dog in the night time!

if you havent you should read elsewhere by gabrielle zevin

and the perks of being a wallflower by stephen chbosky

they are the sort of books that once you have read them, you can open up on any page and be captivated

    well i think so anyway

  • Thank you for the suggestions! I'm actually reading "Wallflower" right now, haha. I should prolly put a list of "currents" as well. xD But yeah, Mark Haddon is awesome. :]

  • you are amazing.........i love you (jk not like that though)

  • haha, thanks! you're pretty awesome yourself, kid. :]
