  • That is so cool

  • I live in Fresno, Ca - where can i buy fresh water jellyfish???????????? please email me at mzcariadams@aol.com

  • @JDTConsultantsInc you cant buy them, espacially not for shipping to the US. i cought them in vienna, which is in austria. not worth buying, or shipping, since they are really small and they would propably die

  • @JDTConsultantsInc you can buy them from jellyfishart - google them, based in San francisco. They ship next day guaranteed alive. Great reviews.

  • @jesbuny yes you can buy moon jellyfish.... but mine are freshwater and not saltwater. the hardest part however is addaptng the moon jellyfish to the tank..... you buy them for a fortune, and 2 days later they are dead.

  • if u show this too a woman.......guranteed sex

  • @MrZamorak23 nah...´usually they are not that interrested in all those "fishy" things

  • how big do they get how much gallons do they need where can you get them in canada

  • @jean9910 propably nowhere near canada ^^ i am from europe. you can find them in danube river and in parts of asia aswell, also in large tropical ponds. those are freshwaterjellyfish.... you cant even buy them in any stores. they are about 2 cm big :)

  • @ozzymann Where in Europe do you live? My dad swam part of the Danube to escape Romania just befor 89.

  • @cepacol06 yes they are.... but not this specimen ^^ those are freshwater jellyfish.... they dont live in saltwater

  • How expensive is this to maintain?

  • @WutHappenedLastNight costs me exactly nothing. i have a tank... i fill it up with water, and i catch them myself.

  • Is it Microhydra Microhydra?

  • @fcentaur no its Craspedacusta sowerbii.

  • @ozzymann Oh, it's the same! Thank You. It's fine You have them at Your home! A lot of interesting observations!

  • I found them in Belgrade, Serbia- Danube and Sava rivers. Please write me down something about water parameters, temperature and food for this jellies. From this video people cant figure out how small and harmless this freshwater jellies are.

  • Its like watching some odd lava lamp

  • What is the name of the song?

  • Really interesting. I own a international import company of marine and freshwater fish, coral and inverts specializing in very rare and hard to find animals. I can take care of the CITES international permits. I'd like to explore this more any maybe talk to you about collection. Would you be interested in discussing this further? Email me back if you are at Oceanpro (at) gmail dot com.

    Michael D Baker, President

    Oceanpro Aquatics Inc.

  • @OceanproAquatics it is quite simple.... i dont have a lot of time since i am working every night, thats why i am writing you back just now. those are Craspedacusta sowerbii . feel free to look it up on wikipedia. if you will read about it. you will see why it is not worth shipping them, or flying them in. i am fascinated by your work. i love the sea, and all the creatures that live in water. i own 5 fish tanks myself, i dive in coral reefs and have my own koi pond aswell greetings from Vienna

  • amazing creatures:) what song is this???

  • @shishi1607 The song is Please don't Go - Barcelona

  • how is the flow generated

  • @samuelwaynefoleyjr water flowing from outside an external filter. circular waterflow in the tank

  • @ozzymann cool does it have a sponge over or something

  • how do you feed all of them?

  • that just looks amazing :o stunning

  • Jellyfish are amazing.

  • they are

  • do they sting you?

  • @paraplegicgiraffe nope. too small

  • whats the size of the jellyfishes ?

  • SO YOU SHOULD DEF MAKE THIS A MOVING BACKROUND SO I CAN KEEP THIS AS M BACKROUND OF MY LAPTOP....THAT WAY I CAN HAVE FRESH WATER JELLY FISH JUST WITH ALL THE WORK.....................THIS IS REALLY COOL

  • those are not cheap where how much

  • @unrealhit88 caught them myself. when you live in vienna (austria) you can find millions of them in the Danube river ^^ you cant buy them anywhere

  • How do you clean the tank? Do they sting? THEY LOOK SO COOL!

  • how big is ur aquarium

  • Its so hypnotizing!!! CANT STOP WATCHING

  • impresinant

  • i want a tank exactly like this....props

  • WHERE DID YOU BUY THESE JELLYFISH!?!?!?!?!

  • @mrtr217 i cought them myself in the danube, which is a river goin through vienna

  • Where can you buy such freshwater jellyfish though?

  • @LoraineAngeli nowhere. its the only specimen of freshwater jellyfish. they were brought to vienna from thailand. now every summer there are millions of them swimming in the river goin through vienna which is called danube. they live for about one month. you cant buy them. i catch new ones once a month.

  • what do they eat and how often do you clean the tank?

  • @slothsarepeculiar when they die i clean the tank, change the water and catch new ones. :) they dont live longer than one month. in nature or captivity. they die either way.

  • how many is there? and they look like condoms lol

  • What's this song called ?

  • @KaruhBef75 please dont go by Barcelona

  • Gorgeous. Do you feed them infusoria? Do they make polyps, or do you have to replenish the supply occasionally? Do you do anything special to get them to reproduce? Is the tank heated?

  • @pandarsson they dont reproduce in captivity. they tried to reproduce them at the university, but failed. they live for a month. i catch them every summer in the river and keep them for a month. when they die i catch new ones. there are millions of them.

  • <3<3<3

  • how much were they each? and are they easy to take care of?

  • where did u get them

  • can u put these lil guys with fish in your aquarium???

or do they also have poison that can kill your fishes???

  • @raamz12490 haha, man they would just eat your fishes dude.

Well, depending on the size and potency of the Jellyfish sting at least. So nope, they need to be separate.

  • @MeetTheCryptid those jellyfish are smaller than a human eyeball ^^ so no they are harmless. and if you keep jellyfish at home, the tank should be empty, except for the water of course, just like my tank in this video.

    cheers

  • @ozzymann wow, that's awesome man.

are your jellyfish just freshwater jellies? ^^

    thanks for replying btw

  • @raamz12490 you cant keep jellyfish with fish.... tank for jellyfish should be empty, except for the water of course

  • @raamz12490 also your filter in the tank would propably suck in all the jellyfish and kill them

  • It is so wonderful, I want an own jellyfish tank :D

  • Not one dislike! very rare on youtube! nice job :)

  • It's all pretty and calming until you notice the dead and dying ones at the bottom. Suddenly it's all very sad and dramatic. XD

  • @ScaryMeadow Watch more closely. They aren't dead and dying. They are just taking a rest. The ones at the bottom are constantly changing.

  • you will be my squishies!!

  • What do you feed them on and where did you buy them from?

  • How much does a set up like this cost?

  • someone should make this a music video

  • did u remeber to put the drops in the water?

  • @lindseyandsabine say what ? what drops ? no chemical substances dear... its all natural. perfect environment for these jellyfish. and they are freshwater not saltwater. i have a saltwater fish tank. i add some biochemicals to the saltwater reef tank so the corals grow. but in this tank i dont add anything

  • @ozzymann Where did you find these? I'm no amature, I am a VERY active fish caregiver...lol but I haven't encountered these before. I have had saltwater jellies, so I know about filtration issues, I just don't know where to find these amazing little guys.

  • ive played flOw too

  • OMG!!! they are so cute!!

  • @Shadowcat9279 :))) i love them too. its the nicest thing, just enjoying them in the evening while some good relaxing music is playin

  • @ozzymann I wish I was lucky enought to have them by my bedside...^^ beautiful creatues

  • thats a awesome tank! btw what type of jellyfish are they and what is the tank size?

  • @Zontor666 its the only known type of freshwater jellyfish. the correct latin name is > "Craspedacusta sowerbyi" look it up on wikipedia. hf

  • are they hard to care for?

  • @brandonsexywhitaker no. since its freshwater living its easy, but they die pretty fast, thats why i always have to collect new ones. :)

  • @ozzymann Where can i purchase one? And how much are they? Thanks

  • @brandonsexywhitaker since they dont live very long you cannot buy them. its pointless selling them, and it would be pointles buying them. i catch them myself in the danube river which goes through Vienna. and they are little tiny things. almost as big as a cap of a bottle :) if you live in Austria or thailand you can go and catch some :) i heard that they are also living in big lakes all around the world, but i am not quite sure about that.

  • BEAUTIFUL :)

  • @catchmydriftlove thank you sweetheart :)

  • @catchmydriftlove thank you :)

  • really beautiful :O)

  • @cheryl4967 thank you ! i am glad you enjoyed it :)

  • Do they glow by their own, or is it some type of light that you have. I have salt water moon jellyfish, and eventhough i have color light they do not glow.

  • @MrCharas6 you should try this : take a normal light, which doesnt get to hot, and put a blue foil around it .... they should glow then ;) or use some black light with the normal light together.

    have fun

  • @Foldlet its supposed to be a cylinrical tank so the water flow rotates inside the tank. i did that with this tank. i am usin a normal external filter with hard waterflow so the water keeps circling, make sure you mount some kind of net on the filter so the jellyfish dont get sucked in and die.

  • I've been wanting a jellyfish tank for a really long time. i would really like to know what state you live in because i've heard it's illegal in the state of california. could you please let me know if you know any of the legalities involved with having a jellyfish tank? Thank you!

  • @lorenitz12 i am from Austria/ vienna ... which is in europe. you can catch those jellyfish here in summer, since they are freshwater jellyfish. in vienna you can keep anything, i had a lionfish for a couple of weeks now in my reef tank. i also have a boa constrictor and a ball python. a friend of mine has a green anaconda, which is pretty hardcore, because when he feeds it or takes it out for a bath he calls me to help him carry that monstrosity. ^^

    greetings from vienna

  • Maybe it's just the video or background music but they almost seem docile. Do you know the scientific name for this particular jellyfish?

  • @therealisticpsychic of course i do ^^ its the only known species of freshwater jellyfish ^^ do fishtanks for 6 years now i know everything about my "pets" > lat. : Craspedacusta sowerbii

  • @ozzymann Thanks dude :)

  • Awesome! do they not like sand at the bottom or decorations?

  • Wow, are those real? where did you get them? I bet its very relaxing to just watch them!

  • where do you buy them, I live in Australia and I assume you do too due to your name.

  • WTF freshwater jellys!?! no water is safe from them now

  • @rockfyst

Yeah some Hydrozoans are freshwater adapted but I don't think they don't have the stinging cells so they aren't really dangerous. ^_^

  • @jonojo absolutely right. not dangerous at all. cheers

  • "I shall call him squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my squishy"

  • I was gonna be a marine biologist but in the 4th grade I saw a discovery channel show about jellyfish & my dream changed drastically.

Said to hell with getting killed by a jellyfish or a shark.

  • I TOLD MY HUBBY THAT THERE WERE AQUARIUMS FOR JELLYFISH & HE DIDN'T BELIVE ME!!!

Yours is awesome. THe music compliments it beautifully.

  • That would be SO relaxing.

  • @ZombiesRUs11 it is pretty relaxing ;)

  • why are they all in the bottom ):

  • @GlitterSkittles23 if you look carefully they get up from the bottom and go all the way to the top, and then back to the bottom again. thats what jellyfish do lol xD

  • how do they glow?? a speacial light?

  • @LARC448 yes :)

  • @LARC448 probably a black light.

  • Wow, I just spaced while watching them. very relaxing

  • How much are they and can i get them in USA?

  • they so tiny

  • @bubufaty ^i kno xD thats why i can keep so many of them :)) and that´s what makes it so beautiful

  • cooll.....btw,what is the song title?

  • @pbw9757 "Please Don't Go" by Barcelona

  • do frequent updates...I am subscribing!!! Wooooooo...tooo relaxing!!

  • what do you feed them?

  • @GooberDarkLight its special jellyfish food.... some little particles that you mix up in water and then you pour a little bit in the tank

  • Wow.. I can watch this all days long :D

  • Wow this is incredible! Can you send me info (maybe private msg) where I can learn about how to create a freshwater tank for jellies, how to keep them, and what kind these are? It's awesome!! Well done.
