  • What a beautiful part of the US this is..I want to visit it ! Nice video, thanks for sharing.

  • @zub1964 ....Arlene, this is New Hampshire which is part of the 5 New England states in the extreme Northeast of the US...I was born and raised there...It consists of quaint little towns of scenic wonders as you see...In my videos I am putting in my favorite places, beaches, lakes, state birds, animals, food and sights of this beautiful state...

I'm glad you enjoyed seeing where I am from because it's grand...just too cold winters in my old age...bones freeze up...hahahaha

    ~Captain~

  • Nice to see the sights of this State - especially as the nearest I'm likelty to get at present is old Hampshire in UK. (Is NH technically part of New England?

  • @wordsmith52~NH is one of the 5 New England states and one of the original 13 colonies of the US.

The sights are breathtaking but it's the smell of the balsam fir trees as you pass by...It's something people should all experience such clean smelling natural air like you are in paradise that's spread with perfume from these beautiful trees...I never experienced this anywhere but New England...very pristine and a very clean state seeing no trash anywhere...heafy fines for a bottle cap thrown down

  • nice clip my Friend thank for ABO i wish a beatiful Weekend

  • Simply stunning....Heaven on Earth. Send me my one-way ticket, please! More...more!!! Love seeing the vibrant Fall colors and the quaint churches and bridges!!!!

  • @TexasMom17 / Hey! I live here. Ir's not Heaven on Earth. But, it's a lot closer than most other places.

    ...Bill

  • @cariboubill LOL It's beauty seems it to be so though! I love the quaintness of the pictorials...the coast...all the beautiful bridges..the lighthouses. Try Texas right now....you'll think your in purgatory (heatwaves~~~)! Here we have dried up lakes and oil wells and tumbling tumbleweeds...LOL.

  • @TexasMom17

It's a very beautiful state but those winters are a thing of my past and keeping snow and cold out of my old bones...hahaha

    ~Captain~

  • @Maskedman46 LOL....you don't like being stowed up inside with a toasty fireplace going???? Hmmmm....

  • @TexasMom17 ...not when you had to remove snow for and hour to bring in the logs and you can't feel your feet...

  • @Maskedman46 ROFL...oh shoot, that's a bummer!!!! In the summer, you must build a breezeway out to a log house and have all the logs stacked and stored there and not have to do all that shoveling...and then ya' can get cozy and enjoy that fire! Buy enough groceries for winter and just be a hermit....lol.

  • @TexasMom17 ....don't give me any more work....lol

  • @Maskedman46 ROFLMBO Snap snap...get to it....hee hee

  • @TexasMom17 ...Do you understand that statement will back-fire on you Cinderella since you are the one cleaning all the ashes and soot from all those logs I burn? Snap Snap Snap and get that broom and dust pan!!!!!!!

  • @Maskedman46 Oh heck Captain...you're brutal...lol.

  • @TexasMom17 ...Brutal huh, I don't see you running for you life! Now get back to cleaning the fireplace Cinderella since you wanted all those cozy fires...lol

  • @Maskedman46 Hmmpphh

  • @Maskedman46 Yes Sir....but someone stole my bucket for the ashes...think they went to collect syrup from the Maple trees...lol. STUPID question, but do the maple trees produce the sap year 'round or is it a seasonal thing...don't laugh...I have no clue...it's why I ask. My dad used to visit this man in my hometown that had a syrup mill & grew sugar cane & made the syrup fresh. Mmm...it was yum! Daddy would also bring home chunks of the sugar cane to chew on...it was good! Ever had it?

  • @TexasMom17 ...yes, they tap trees even in snow...they take the sap in those houses and boil it to make maple syrup...the smoke was boiling kettles....

Not much sugar cane is grown here in the US...wrong climate..mostly Florida as it comes from the Carribean islands or Hawaii....yes, they sell it here from Hawaii....I think they do have some in Texas and Louisiana too...

I tried it but don't like all that chewing or sucking some stick...lol

  • @TexasMom17 ....close but there is no snow and cold in heaven...lol

  • @Maskedman46 ...How do you know, have you been there and back?

  • @Maskedman46 ROFLMAO...you answered yourself there sir....bahaha...

  • @TexasMom17 ...I'm surprised you didn't ask what 7:30 was with your 20 questions ? LOL

  • @Maskedman46 Well, I spared you some questions...but you peaked my interest NOW. So, what is at 07:30. Smoke house for smoking meats? Make wine? What...what...what is...huh....huh??? Oh and at 01:16 , could you please find Waldo? LOL

  • @TexasMom17 Very funny again...never saw anyone smoke meat in New England...that's a southern thing or Texas thing..Wine,I'm busting my gut laughing...didn't you ever watch I Love Lucy crushing grapes with her feet in a wine vat in Italy? NO cooking involved...ferments in a oak barrel after you crush the grapes...then you bottle...

Are you sure you weren't Ellie Mae's neighbor?LOL

New Hampshire and Vermont are known for Maple trees where they're tapping trees outside that MAPLE SYRUP house...

  • @Maskedman46 Hmpphh...why I tell you like it is Cap'n..don't 'chu knowed that Ellie Mae grew up in Beverly Hills...not the country...lol. So, I wish I'd been her neighbor..lol. WOW....NH didn't smoke meats...I'd think the cooler weather would be highly conducive to doing so! It must be a southern thing for food preservation. Yes..I watched Lucy...but Italy ain't the only place wine is made, and I'm sure there's other ways to crushgrapes. Too cool on the syrup..I'd LOVE to see inside it then!

  • @TexasMom17They did NOT Grow up in Beverly Hills...they grew up in the Ozarks and struck oil on his mountain swamp land and sold it and moved to Beverly Hills...In the opening of the show it shows this with the song...I didn't say Italy was the only place wine is made, it's made world wide...The point of Lucy was telling/showing you they do not "Cook" grapes but crush and put in vats then bottle...now they use machines not like 100yrs ago...

    Crush...oak vats to ferment...bottle...that's IT...
