  • Well hello to you too :D Many blessings to you, your family and friends.

  • @shunshine77 I feel the exact same way about Russell. He is so very unique, without trying to be

  • Both funny and informative and even somewhat inspiring!

  • absolutely cannot wait for the documentary

  • Is that James McCartney in the audience?

  • So awesome.

  • I love Russell Brand-- and not in a lustful, sexual kind of attraction either (although he IS beautiful, no lie). I can't really explain it... it's like a really intense feeling of admiration washes over me every time I listen to him-- admiration for the incredible, beautifully flawed human being that he is. And remarkably, some how loving him makes me love humanity as a whole even more.

  • I' m afraid of your eyes...Russell!!!! But you are funny!

  • @UTprema There are a number of reasons TM costs money. Please visit tm.org for more information on this. Part of the reason David Lynch Foundation was established was to bring TM to those who need it but can't afford it. Financial help can always be arranged for those who really want to learn.

  • Not secretly brilliant anymore!

  • @UTprema this is a life skill you would learn...for your self...it is not a day out...it is much like learning an insturment..it takes time, concentration and a teacher..you have to remember your going in to yourself..its not to be taken lightly...it is to be taken correctly..a life skill is worth soo much more than a hand shake, pat on the back it goes soo much deeper..everyone wants a quick fix

  • it like anything is like driving a car...i can drive a car..i dont have a license...i can do handbreak turns not useful but had to add that...the point is...if i go to an instructor..i will learn to drive safely..if i rely on my friends...i'd lnow how to drive like a stunt women and get no assurance, quality or safety out of what i was doing..i'd prob enjoy it less as there are rules......lol...but my point being....anyone can take short cuts, but its not the destination it is the journey...

  • @UTprema I agree, here he is talking about being superficial and commercialism but like you said, someone needs to be paid for you to learn...

  • Thank you for being such a brilliant man Russell!!! We love you dearly.....even if some twats still dont get who you are and what you are all about :)

Peace and Love to all. Simply find peace in the present moment. It never fades

  • Thank you Russell! You are a wonderful person and so is everyone with DLF - making such a positive difference in our world. TM works !

  • @SurfsUpStudios whats dlf?

  • I see James McCartney there!...

  • I am impressed, Russell is far more articulate than I gave him credit for.

  • Just a scam.

  • @heywayhighway it aint..its just another way to heal...some use counselling..to put words into how they feel....some cant do that....words are just words without feeling for some people...being in a place with others also being can have a real cathartic place a sense of being counselled without words....alot of artists need this as regular people may need a counsellor its just another expression of letting go...

  • I find it so bizarre to see David Lynch and Russell Brand together in the same room.

  • @secretmiggles What do you really know about either one of them besides what they have sold you, via public persona? Who do you claim to be? Are you personal friends with either man?

  • @HolyCity2012 hopefuly you claim to be yourself.....no one has sold me anything..tho i am suprised of the paranoia considering the political climate we live in where reading food labelling can be more physically toxic and mentaly baffling than a mantra you are free to choose for or against any second of the day?

  • @rhu8ar8 let alone drinking water...atleast you can start and stop as you feel no one controls how focused or confused you may feel and the benefits or not are totally in only your control....eating food/drinking water is more in monetry control than you own..

  • @secretmiggles y'know, if you think about it, it isn't very bizarre at all. i bet russell will have a role in David's next movie

  • @samfilmkid russell would suit davids new movie yes....but he would be soo much more suited to playing sherlock holmes...dont you think...and realy....he doesnt have to sell his whole self to get what he wants...he realy believes in this as it has aided him enormously.thats all...tho off the wall he has done many documentarys of him exploring his own consiousness u may think from all the wrong sides of life..not for him yet this is one that seems to level him out..its good..do it if you can

  • I love him!!!! and Katy together!!!! ;)

  • omg he has ADHD/ADD i think. hes like me....

  • Russel Brand and David Lynch are two people I never thought would see in the same room together. let alone for the same cause. Pretty cool.

  • funny & brillant

  • @simplerachel11 and goodlooking and unique,

  • He manages to maintain a train of thought really well here - he takes genuine care to try and pick his words to convey what he means as precisely as possible. Doing that well is tricky. As for TM - probably more beneficial to some folk than others.

  • Not realy he is taking a mental breathe to keep focus on the point he is relaying, also he does a word phrasel link to keep the audience focused..so they dont recognise he suffers with lack of concentration.the hypnotic expression.is because he took the time to memorise all he wanted to say prob thru headphones after carefully and articulately writing it,he had alot to say cause he firmly believes it to be good...if it aint hurting anyone & is based on indiv choice hows it dangerous...

  • .tm..can only be good...david lynch foundation giveing hope a place in reality, taking indiv.responsibility of change scares people used to deception dictating direction for the mass.the idea of being guided indivually to a positive change with positive results/effects on individuals aswell as masses.is a little too personal to daunting too positive too good to be true..to choose to take responsibity indivually...money aint the issue. ..just fear...im skint..but im signing up for tm asap..

  • @phillintheuk1 It costs money because those who teach you are taking time out of their lives to teach you this technique which is there profession. Transcendental meditation isn't something you can learn by simply reading about it online, you need someone to guide you through it.

Also, if people can't afford the price of the practice, you can work something out with the organization; all you have to do is talk to someone at your local center.

  • @TheBackseatJesus

I think you'll find that most teachers get paid for taking time out fo their lives, the issue here is .....just how much they get paid and how much goes to the teachers and how much to The Organisation......bottom line .......it's too expensive.......especially in these days of austerity measures, but not to worry I'm sure the well off will stil be able to afford their enlightenment.

  • @phillintheuk1 As I've said, if someone really wants to practice transcendental meditation, the organization is willing to work something out with you.

Here's a video about the cost and why it does cost.

    watch?v=0ZKlqOEP2F8

  • its not a religon.its a skill.music is a skill it takes alot of years to play bach or motzart properly to feel enlightend to give that however slight. you do feel it.once you have a skill like that.you must maintain it.its for life.religon.christion,catholic.the richest in the world! yet many a life destroyed many a slave made+that hit generations.communities.this you can do if you want/not.its a choice.the cost is obvious.it doesnt go on for centuries.its painless.its goodness.

  • Boner at 0:45? hahah

  • great speaker, who speaks with absolute clarity about Transcendental Meditation. Whether you like him or not as a comedian one cant help respecting how he has used TM and turned his lfe around from the typical celebrity drug lifestyle to a centered human being

  • Off the cuffs of Herbal 1971...He is distrurbingly charming and crazy intelligent!!! "CHEERS" :)

  • @URABombShell just my cup o' tea he's a good boy, little naughty round those cliff hanger edges, yet im sure.he is layer on layer of lovely soft+cuddly stuff..all he wants is love !! (on every level it ever existed lol) we all want that !! he's just more aware of it than us !! he's just off the rictor scale trying to experience all the levels of it.to know you have loved+have been loved on many a level, in many different senses by the time you pass thats the idea, surely, thats life x

  • @rhu8ar8 he would make A GREAT SHERLOCK HOLMES !!! x

  • Harre Krrishna!!

  • T.M seems a bit elitist ....like meditation for those that can afford it, it is quite expensive is it not, ? well especially if one is living on the breadline like someone with low wages and a young family to care for, those people that might be more stressed than people WITH money, maybe the people who would most benefit from such a spiritual practise cannot actually afford it. Bit ironic that !!!!

  • @phillintheuk1 What do you have to pay for? Isn't it just sitting comfortably and focussing on a mantra?

  • @phillintheuk1 Exactly.

  • @phillintheuk1 Those who can't afford it can work something out with the organization. All you have to do is talk to someone at a local center.

  • @phillintheuk1 Im one of those people your talking about.im on the 'bread line'.i aint got no money.i aint got much family. there is always a way, if you realy wanna do something, you can..tm starts with a phone call they'll make it easy for you from then to be able to do tm..thats where i am with it at present. The money goes to more new centres all over for others to have that choice to make the call then go from there...if you talk to them they will work it out.so you get to do tm..

  • people pay alot of money to sit comfortably alone on vid games and focus on killing zombies day in and day out with/for their kids....?....lol......

  • @phillintheuk1 There are always ways to get financial help to learn Transcendental Meditation. That is one of the main reasons David Lynch Foundation was established - to bring TM to those who need it but can't afford it. There are a lot of reasons TM costs. Please visit tm.org for more info on this.

  • @phillintheuk1 My family and I received partial scholarships for all of us from the David Lynch Foundation. If you make an intention that it will be easy for you to acquire this, you might be pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Don't give up! There is a TM teacher in Vegas that works on a sliding scale as well. She is awesome!

  • lovely guy:-)

  • Just brillant :)

  • so articulate

  • I like him even more now!

  • Its good to see someone outside "the movement" talk so effectively of TM!

  • Russell Brand is a beautiful spirit and a real person....a powerful combination.

  • Looks disturbingly like Nigella Lawson.

  • he like the perfect gu,y kind verry funny o yeah and sexy. katys lucky girl. mind you there both verry lucky.
