I remember watching number 7 on match of the day. No 5 shouldn't have been allowed. Your can't knock the ball out of the keepers hands when he has it there. #4 is as much the defenders fault for passing it back to the keeper again. #3 i felt sorry for Tim Flowers in goad there. I watched that game too. The ball just hits a big lump in the pitch and bounces over his shoulder

@darrenrijian It is the same man, René Higuita. The scorpion kick was in a friendly match, this mistake was in the World Cup. With the pressure off he can be great. When the pressure's on, his attempts to be a showman are more likely to end in disaster. He does have the greatest porn star moustache in football though.

@jakekisabeth  the reason it's classed as a blunder is because Tim Flowers always used to put a big mark in the ground so he knew which was the 6 yard line (no idea why) so the ball hit the divot he's made and that's why it's in

it wasnt a bounce, it hit a divot on the floor which the goalkeeper produced (the goalkeeper made that divot so he knew where the centre of the goal was to get his angles right when coming out)
