OMG HE DID NOT USE CMD. I am a hacker and the command prompt does nothing more that allow access to the ms-dos that came with the older dos based nt operating systems. He used password phishing(in this case obtaining it from his teacher) and would have not gotten caught if he used a proxy and didnt change the password of the account. And as for "stealing passwords" it is ALOT more complex than it sounds. Most require keyloggers to record or a bruteforce software to guess the password.
