how did you make the MIP and EICAS and the other one? what i mean is what software?? i have panels but im not sure how to put the panels onto them, if possible could u post a vid of how to do this, many thanks
@mr97eminemfan Hi. For the displays we use the software called ProSim 737 which is a full Glass cockpit suite for FSX which is currently free to download. We have 1 pc per 2 Displays on the MIP. I hope this helps.
@KeyNetworks why you need 1 PC for only 2 Displays?? can i use 1 PC for all Displays? i have only 2 PCs in moment , 1 for FSX and 1 for the Displays , is this possible?
@danielbeier2 Thanks for commenting and sorry it has taken so long to get back to you!
You can use more than 2 displays per computer, such as if you are running SLI, or using Matrox Triple Head2Go or something similar. Someone correct me if im wrong.
We are only using 1 PCI-E card per machine which has 2 outputs, so we are only able to use 2 displays per machine. Also it helps to take load of one machine if you split it between a few, which will give a smoother experience. Hope this helps.
@maximebenidorm Thanks for the commenting and watching. This simulator is built out of many different parts and computers, and is not 1 product that you can buy from a shop. The MIP and Stand are built of MDF with 4 monitors mounted behind. I hope this helps
@piromoretta Many thanks for your comment! I will have to check on the Projector model for you, and the resolution that is being used is currently 1280x1024. We currently have a spare machine running FSX for testing currently as our main FS machine needs a motherboard replacement!. Will get back to you with the model number. I know it's a BENQ.
@KeyNetworks thank you very much for the info and good luck with your project it`s comeing really nice.I`m about to build my 2nd cockpit check it out and let me know what you think
