@reppand I've read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover and that Blue book talks of Christ, prophesy of Christ and rejoice of Christ. The writers are Prophets of old time, prophets called of our Father in Heaven. Joseph Smith was just an instrument in translating it. Just like the Holy Bible being translated by wise men of old, make sense. Judging the Book of Mormon w/o reading it is like not opening a letter from someone else w/o knowing what the letter is all about.

We have black Full-Time missionaries, couple missionaries, Family History consultants, Primary teachers, Bishops and Stake Presidents and we actually have Black General Authority in the Church. @debbtv well that actually points out that the Mormon Doctrines are real and true. Many think that God doesn't speak to prophets anymore, did He not say that He is Alpha and Omega, the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow? Meaning His ways will not change. If He loves the people of old times that HE calls prophets, will He not call prophets for our time because He also loves us as he loves the people back then?

@PichonDeloro1 yes God speaks to us all. He sent the HOly Ghost for our personal guidance and in helping others as well. But when He will speak for the Church, He talks to His chosen vessels -to the Prophets. That is very visible in the Bible. If you live during Moses' time, (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob etc.) will you not believe him (them)? I do know that God speaks to prophets yesterday, today and even tomorrow for He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

@fishs777 there is not the slightest primary historical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written Manus. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people long after his supposed life. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus. There occurs not a single contemporary writing that mentions Jesus.

The problem here is that Josephus' account is too good to be true, too confessional to be impartial, too Christian to be Jewish. As you point out Josephus was jewish so it would be illogical for him to call Jesus "the Christ" or acknowledge he fulfilled prophesies. If Josephus believed that he wouldnt be jewish since that is pretty much the dividing line between the two

Interesting, I always believed that if one wanted the definition of what a Christian was that they would use the Book that was inspired by the Father of and maker of Christianity rather than a secular book. A Christian is a follower, disciple and one who has given their lives to and for the "Christ". Thus making a mormon "Smithtian"

@reppand I've read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover and that Blue book talks of Christ, prophesy of Christ and rejoice of Christ. The writers are Prophets of old time, prophets called of our Father in Heaven. Joseph Smith was just an instrument in translating it. Just like the Holy Bible being translated by wise men of old, make sense. Judging the Book of Mormon w/o reading it is like not opening a letter from someone else w/o knowing what the letter is all about.

Joseph Smith was arrested for fraud while he was alive. Mormons did not allow Blacks into their Church because they believe they are cursed. Salvation is based on what you do hence mandatory mission trips - not by GRACE believing Christ died for us. A women is accepted by God based on having children. -The list goes on

We have black Full-Time missionaries, couple missionaries, Family History consultants, Primary teachers, Bishops and Stake Presidents and we actually have Black General Authority in the Church. And I love these people, they are children of God like you and I, He loves us all equally.

I do not know the very reason why God said that,, just like I don't really comprehend why the Gospel is was not allowed to be preach to the Samaritans and Gentiles before. Then Christ himself said to His Prophets and Apostles to preach the gospel to them after His ascension in heaven... Well we don't have to understand everything for as the NT said "we should walk by faith and not by sight"

Like what He said in James 1:5, if we lacked in wisdom then ask Him. And by the power of the Holy Ghost we will know the truth of all things. Same way that you would know if the Book of Mormon is true brother =) if you are sincere in knowing the Truth, go ahead and read the BOM and then ask Heavenly Father if that book really is another testament of Christ.

Many think that God doesn't speak to prophets anymore, did He not say that He is Alpha and Omega, the same Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow? Meaning His ways will not change. If He loves the people of old times that HE calls prophets, will He not call prophets for our time because He also loves us as he loves the people back then?

@PichonDeloro1 yes God speaks to us all. He sent the HOly Ghost for our personal guidance and in helping others as well. But when He will speak for the Church, He talks to His chosen vessels -to the Prophets. That is very visible in the Bible. If you live during Moses' time, (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob etc.) will you not believe him (them)? I do know that God speaks to prophets yesterday, today and even tomorrow for He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Yes d revelation changes from time to time for God lives and HE speaks to us according to His own will and how ever it is HE see what we need today. If u will look at the NT, Jesus said at first to His apstles not to preach to them that r samaritans and gentiles. But eventually it was Jesus who opened the door for Samaritans to receive the Gospel, the woman in the well is the 1st to hear it. then...

@debbtv then before HE ascended in Heaven, He told His disciples to preach the Gospel to everyone and that includes the gentiles. W/o Christ, the church stands because the Apostles are still alive, holding the authority, with Peter as the chief apostle or prophet during that time. It was He who opened the door for the gentiles and it was actually Cornelius, a member of the Italian Band, who was the 1st Gentile together w/ his household were converted to the true Gospel

They teach He was created and is not the Creator . They believe they can become gods when God says in the bible in Isaiah "I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God." and Isaiah 43:10 You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me."

@printsanpaws ... If you read the Bible, then you will know, that what coreva has told you, is, in fact, true! There is NO OTHER book which is another testament of Jesus - no other is needed. Joseph Smith was a conman, seller of snake oils and other such cons, to the early settlers. The modern day prophet of the Mormons, whoever that be, has the ability to change old literature, or delete from current Mormon teachings. Check it out! So many lies you have been fed.

This mix shows just how live vocals can sound without the tremendous vocal processing that goes into the recording of a cd. Even the best are not on pitch 100% of the time.
I'm surprised vocals weren't pitch corrected in this 'studio' or, lip synched, as they do in their bigger venues.
But, this is a fantastic song.

@sandylou07 The harmonies DOES NOT mean anything. It's about what you take out of the song. Don't listen to the harmony but think about what Jesus has done for us. He died for our sins because he loved us. Jesus is our Savior, Redeemer, and our King. Praise the LORD forever!!

hhmm it's always easy to judge others huh? is that Christianity? Didn't Christ told us to love one another? What do you know about the Mormons? all I know is that they are good people, they don't make fun of others' faith, they serve, they practice what they preach,. The name of their church is "the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" they don't force people to believe what they believe, they honor the BIBLE as much as any Christians do,,,

There are quite a few secular writings (by those trying to squelch Christianity) that speak of Jesus. Some of these writings even accuse Him of sorcery. Josephus (a Jewish historian) Cornelius Tacitus (a Roman historian), Pliny the Younger (a Roman governor) are a few. That's only 3 and there are more. These secular writings are accepted by todays scholars

@fishs777 there is not the slightest primary historical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written Manus. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people long after his supposed life. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus. There occurs not a single contemporary writing that mentions Jesus.

@fishs777 As for poor Josephus, Jesus is mentioned in only 2 passages of the "The Antiquities of the Jews". One passage, known as the Testimonium Flavianum, discusses the career of Jesus. The authenticity of the Testimonium has been disputed since the 17th century; modern scholars agree that it is only partially authentic.

@fishs777 The second passage mentions Jesus as the brother of a James. Many scholars consider this passage ingenuine. The problem here is that Josephus' account is too good to be true, too confessional to be impartial, too Christian to be Jewish. As you point out Josephus was jewish so it would be illogical for him to call Jesus "the Christ" or acknowledge he fulfilled prophesies. If Josephus believed that he wouldnt be jewish since that is pretty much the dividing line between the two
