  • well i play one of those ancient harmonica from asia......and i just posted a video here with a blues composition

i got thes pipe instruments 3 meters long each with a silver reed.. lots of chords ...thats right chords. any im from detroit origionally and well the blues are the blues...best wishes to all

  • wow, perfect. you have a band? you must have one!

  • Just whistle, then lower the note. See how you drop your tongue? Then do it sucking in with the harp in your mouth. Draw the note then drop the tongue. Should bend. try holes 4 & 5 first. Good luck.

  • great!

  • How do you bend the notes? I've asked several people and they all just say "Do it", please give me a real answer.

  • do it.

  • Heheh, smart ass.

  • You have to move your lips around (mouth the word WOW) Also you can open and close your free hand really fast to get a vibrato effect. Basically you just have to experiment and see what you get. i.e. do it. :~)

  • He's got a lesson up for this. Go search his channel man.

  • im learning myself, its simple, if you are in 'pucker' mode its easier.

with your mouth, without a harmonica, goo weeeee ooooo do this with exhalation, and do the same with inhalation.

try it on the harmonica, itll take a bit before you can get individual notes to bend, but youll get there :D

  • @VeridianMusic

    Thanks man

  • humh i really want to find a cool guy who wants to chat with me

  • Dude that's incredible. All us beginner and advanced beginners need is some kind of slight attempt tablature to get us in the right place. Would help so immensely. I've got a good dose of theory in my brain but just don't know how to put it into action. I think having notes on paper to play would really kick my creative juices, cause I'm kind of plateau'd here.

  • Good stuff.

  • Teach me. I'd be satisfied with learning a ten second clip of this improv.

  • fantastic!!

  • Great job!!!!

    Blues on!

  • Awesome!

  • cover me with water......................im hot!!!fsssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • hot.

  • This is boogie! bravo :)

  • awesome ;) wish i could play that :p

  • go out and try im so inspired by the harmonica that i have started a band with friends called throwback

  • Eres seco conchetumadre!!!

  • i think i just busted

  • damn good!!!!

  • truly awesome. it was this improv video that actually inspired me to learn the blues harp :) i'm wondering - is there a name for this type of blues? I know i've heard it before, but this particular "upbeat" sound just fills me with joy. :)

  • This is twelve-bar blues. It's awesome.

  • Boogie Blues. Usually it is ubeat and has a roving baseline in the rhythm.

  • @tophar5 it'd put it to the Chicago blues sound

  • @tophar5 hmm agreed some parts of it remind me of little walter in way

  • I got dizzy.

  • Hy!

This is so cool! I really like it. I try play blues on harmonica, but in my country is not so popular.

Where can i learn play like, this? :)

  • there's this youtube channel called playharmonica easily, he taught me a bunch of stuff.

  • wow

  • yeah...what's the lesson??

  • This was not intended to be a lesson. I'm simply referring to lessons available at my website which is in the title.

  • @RonnieShellist This guy is just a troll, now worries, this was an awesome vid. Do you think I could play decent blues on a Golden Melody in C? When I bought it I didn't think it would make a big difference, but I feel like a cowboy on the open range for some reason.

  • Nice shit dude .. I Definitly LIKE IT !

  • blowing like a god

  • damn....u showed that harmonica who's boss....

  • AHhaHshAHshAHh!!!

    Great song

  • NICE!!!

  • This is a chromatic blues harmonica right ?

  • wooow me encanta como suena!!!! great from chile

  • so how much poontang are you scoring on a daily basis with those mad skills? damn, boy

  • I love the word poontang

  • It's a word that's meant to be loved.

  • Hi, Ronnie I've been following your videos for awhile now. I was the person who asked about playing left-handed. hhaa check me out now. I would like to know how I am doing with playing. Check out my "Blues Harmonica" video please plus everyone else.

  • dude all i got that was some harmoinca goodness lol it was like your biteing the harmonica and made life at the same time idk

  • wow

  • badass.

  • Great !!! Which harmonica are you using???

  • he told that - hohner's marine band in the key of c

  • wow man, insane, im sure learning how to play like that took you a long time. Kudos brother

  • nonono MIERDAAA

  • i wanna learn to play the harmonica cause I used to play it like 10 years ago and im 18 now... would u recommend me to buy the expensive ones to start off ??? any other advices ? X D

  • buy a lee oskar major diatonic in D. and play second posituon. thats a D harp for blues in A and so forth

  • Dude what would you recommend as a good blues harmonica.

  • Just a regular C harp. Or a diatonic one.

Sometimes I use A, but not very often, I'm partial to C.

The most basic blues progression is in G, as it's the easiest and most common. For 12 bar, you just use your 1, 4, and 5 chords. so basically just play G C D and shit.

  • kickass!!

  • rocking!!!

  • fucking badass

  • great

  • it says lessons at....

    not that is a lesson

  • You just got schooled.

  • Awesome, really :D!

  • what is the name of the song i liked the song and i play the hamonica so id like to learn that song but i didnt get the name?

  • It doesn't have a nemae, it's just pure imrpovisation, im learning this by ear

  • es impresionante

  • I've heard this tune improvved in different ways in so many places, but i don't actually know the name of the song/framework itself. Can anyone help me out here?

  • awesome, you rock)

  • ..very cool..

  • Wow, just when i felt like i was getting better, a video like this SMACKS me down big time :-). I have only been playing for about 6 months though.

Amazing rythem. This is where I want to get to in the next few years.

  • thats awesome man, how are you playin a c harmonica in G tho?

  • It's called cross harp or second position. If you want to play in the key of G on a harmonica which is in the key of C, start the play with 5 steps lower (C - B, Bb, A, Ab, G)

  • harmonicas are weird. the key that u blow is in c but when u suck in it is inG or something like that. when a harp player plays on a blues track in like A they usually pull out there harp in some other key to play it

  • It isn't "weird," it's how the instruments and musical scales are structured. They weren't designed to play blues. Knowing your intervals, chord progressions and the Circle of Fifths explains all.

  • great playing dude

  • quality! just quality!

  • great work brother ;)

something I can strive for hehe.

  • I am jealous. =[
