I know this comment is a little late, but Tim wasn't fired because he couldn't sing the Barlow songs. He was fire because he treated his time in Iced Earth as a Paycheck, rather then music. Tim wasn't to bad in this song. He was simply trying to sing a song who's last singer was a baritone. There are a few songs Tim does quite well, The Hunter is a perfect example. And you are right, it would have been better if he had changed it up a bit.
