Its actually really easy to obtain, i caught it on a level 5 troll shaman near the walrus people, track fish is helpful, i'd recomend taking up cooking aswell while you fish

Dude I just started fishing today and caught my sea turtle already. whats even better is my fishing is only 184 and I caught it with at Strong Fishing Pole and a Bright lure only :D

After exactly 855 fishes , i got the sea turtle today :) , spent like 2-3 hours in that spot , thank you so much for this video danny , without it i would never knew about the fishing journal , or that amazing spot in Sholazar basin , Squirtle squirtle !!

@multichak The book u gotta fish it up while the rod enchantment and the hat both comes from the bag you get as a reward for the fishing daily.

NOTE: the hat is not a 100% gaurantee to appear in the bag

I just got this mount last night, I have been fishing for it for about 40-50 hours of just in pool fishing... I am sooo happy I got it. Funny part of it is I pretty much gave up about a week before then I went to do my fishing daily and it popped up, I FREAKED OUT IN PURE AWESOMENESS JOY AND EVERYONE AROUND ME WHERE JUMPING AND CHEERING, SOME WHERE EVEN CRYING THEY WHERE SO HAPPY FOR ME!

Anyway yeah I love this mount its a must have..

Skill and Lures and such do not increase your chance... the mount only drops off off the Schools of fish and not lakes... You could get this mount with level 1 fishing since there is no ban on the waters anymore, but the mount has a 1% drop rate with other fish... so if you get Sickly fish or Tangled Wire then you didnt have a chance to get it... this mount is alll about luck you have a 1% chance and there is nothing you can do to improve it.

@Avatar1893 like you just said if you get sickly fish or other junk your dont have the chance of getting the mount but if you get your skill up to the point you never catch junk your are giving yourself a better chance of getting the mount in the long run and why don't you look when it was posted quite some time ago before all the big fishing changes.

this guide is Bull shit cause i got the turtle with 125 fishing i did a random cast in a pool of fish i got it at that little lake in dragonblight its totally RANDOM so if u can fish in northrend then u have a chance to get it but this song ROCKS

Yeah but will take you alot longer cause of all the junk you catch.... you maybe get a fish every 6-8 casts so its worth leveling it up first do the coin achevement in dalaran first then time thats done you should be 300+
