Because Denmark, along with Canada and Mexico helped us along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Mexican troops were here for a couple of weeks. The Danes were here as well but I cannot remember in what capacity. They may have been part the help sent from NATO.

i donated $253.78 to hurricane katrina causes, we went around a campground asking everyone if they wanted to donate money, almost every single one of the people we ,  Even if it just bought them a couple pieces of brand new wood, or some blankets to keep them warm, it did make a difference so every time you get the chance, help out , because the littlest things make a difference. It is heart-wrenching that we had so much destruction in Mississippi. That is why the volunteers have been so important. Not only have they helped us clean up the mess and rebuild homes, they've also helped us keep up our hope. We could can lean on them after Hurricane Katrina devestated the Mississippi Coast line.

For a day off, the Frnech Quarter is good. A lot of people from New Orleans come to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to relax at the beaches. The volunteers who are helping us in Mississippi seem to enjoy the beaches as much as we locals.

I live in Slidell, I moved here slightly after Katrina. When Katrina hit I lived in San Diego- my house here wasnt even finished- but most others will never be finsihed- many of my friends lost everything, lived in tarilers- i share their pain

I love this... my youth group and I went and worked in Gulfport last summer. Even though it's been 2 years, Mississippi still needs a lot of help in rebuilding itself. It's strange because we passed a lot of the places you have in the movie. The bridges going across the water were awful. I remember that the most. The nurse in the hospital put this song on repeat 66 times. I was in intensive care, in SickKids. She wanted the message to come clear to me. I had no intention of getting better, and I just wanted to die. But I got so annoyed by this song, I was pushed to get better. I had to learn everything over again! I have three on-line galleries. One has pics from Long Beach & Pass Christian. It's wonderful all the people who are helping. My congregation met with a bunch of 11th graders from Palo Alto CA. They helped out in Waveland today.

I like what Rabbi Matsa said about them and all the other volunteers. They are the faces of hope. They give us so much strenght because we know we aren't forgotten.
