I'd love to be a ref for a Kobashi match,to just sit back & watch him chop someone knowing your not on the receiving end of it & only having to step in to tell him not to chop so hard & ease up lol,then i'd be in fear of being pushed into a corner & chopped to death lol.

Matches like this piss me off. (Hear me out). It's not because of the wrestlers like the ones we see here, but its because the Puro feds here are more interested in giving the best match possible against the biggest names. WWE and TNA probably would never do something like this, they'd be too busy having pissing contests on which one of their wrestlers would win....and in this match, you see that it's sooooooo not like that at all. Give the fans what they want, and they'll come back for more

I just got sick of the stale, mediocre crap that the US feds were putting on, so I branched out and liked what i saw.  I haven't watched WWE properly in 4 years and TNA in 3, and I have no real desire to go back.

no, i love the indys. ROH has put on some great matches, but to be honest I haven't been that into it lately. PWG and Chikara are absolute favourites of mine, and i was truly gutted to hear the IWA-MS has had to close. even CZW has it's moments, though i don't like american deathmatches.

@corkscrewfoley yeah, i know. it's just not the same though, the promotion basically died after TPI 08. it's a lot different now from the glory days of 2004 to 2007, with a bunch of guys just doing spots instead of wrestling, crappy hardcore crap and all of 10 fans in the audience. hopefully TPI 2010 can rekindle the spark, but i somehow doubt it. ill just have to keep watching my classic dvds and pretending that it's still good.

@ABTROGDOR I too have converted to puro, because TNA is becoming WCW part 2 and WWE has always been a piece of crap. The only time the WWE became great was when CM Punk went ham last night on RAW.

I love how after Nagata slaps Kobashi after the break at 3:56, Kobashi paces a bit, getting pissed off all the while before looking at Yuji and basically saying, "Ok, that's how we're going to do this? Fine." The crowd totally ate that up.

1. It's for the GHC Title

2. It's a New Japan ace trying to take down NOAH's ace in a NOAH show

3. It's Kobashi, who aside from Misawa, is the man in NOAH.
