@AngelofKaos I've read, played and seen everything Devil May Cry, including the Devil May Cry 4 novel. It's hinted that Vergil is Nero's father, not actually said in words.

@AngelofKaos I read the Novel. It's still not directly implied. What Agnus had said was that they had conducted experiments with Vergil's DNA from his sword and grafted that Demon Arm that Nero has now.

So in other words Nero could just possibly be a by-product of Vergil.

@AngelofKaos An employee. I checked and I highly doubt that a simple employee would have any say in that what so ever. Secondly Dante's in his Mid 30s where as Nero is 19. Virtually impossible for Vergil to go around boning a chick that long ago and not to mention he hates humans.

Agnus even said that Nero is the product of transferring Sparda's blood. He didn't say he was a son of Sparda, but he had his blood. Therefore Nero has to be an experiment of sorts.

The disappointing thing is all this novelty will be forgotten depending how DMC5 casts Vergil, if he's even in the game at all. It'll likely leave a sour taste in the mouth.
