  • What is the story behind all the synths. How long have you been collecting? It's pretty impressive.

  • How come no one on VSE has done a review of this synth?

  • Kurde też mam takiego ,kupiłem w 90r gruby temat, tym filmem zmusiłeś mnie żebym sprawdził czy jeszcze działa :)

  • Your video editing is very strange...What do you use?

  • erich honeckers best piece of gear.......lol

  • i like that video-editor!...and of course this synth:-)

  • hey man, how are the numbers of your registers? Can you borrow me the recipe for these arrangements, please? :)) I really like them!

  • nice sound!

  • You make good Vids.and you have cool Synties !!! Tiracon 6V Made in GDR !

  • You should stick to vintage analog, it suits you best. Regards.

  • Like being locked in a nuclear bunker, Atmosperic :)

  • i fuckin loved the t2 intro. gave it a thumbs up before even hearing the sound, which happened to be pretty good as well.

  • there are parts, that sound just like my beloved SID/AHX chiptune. The others are massive.

    ..and..

    "a ja kocham moją mamę"

  • im sure this thing is the reason the cold war ended...

  • @Fusushiclub1 Vermona still produces instruments, fx etc, so they survived the cold war

  • Specifications from Matrixsynth:

VCO: Six voices, three octaves, sine, square and sawtooth wave generation

VCF: 24 dB low pass filter with adjustable resonance

3 LFO's: one for VCO, VCF and pulse width

    32 program memory locations

Sequencer, with 2 lines for 250 notes

    Chord memory function

    Tape recorder interface for backup

    MIDI

  • Interesting, that makes it look a lot like a PolySIX/Poly-61 with a few features added.

  • Neeeeed

  • 2:12 so wonderful

  • dope shit

sounded like a ninja gaiden level at 3:50

  • fuck! the melodies at 6:05-on are so good!

  • the best thing east germany ever produced...

  • But hey, it had midi! I bet you could control a Trabi with it...

  • Brzmienie nie z tej ziemi :) Zakochałem się w tym syntezatorze...

  • sounds like the korg poly800 w/ reverb. =)

  • man I completely love your video editing, the grainy textures, the gritty synth sounds.. so awesome. I gotta say, you know how to play and your video composure and editing is friggin awesome.

  • great programming, and playing, as usual, mr. w.c. olo!

  • A lot of patches remind me of the sid chip /c64!

Probably because of their heavy use of PWM.

  • Easily the best synth demo video I have ever seen.

  • Loved the intro. Excellent playing. Nice work :)

  • This video rocks! Friggin excellent work my friend!

  • retro mindfuck! love it

  • Never seen/try this synthesizer; anyway I think sounds good; but the poly61 style programming is boring...

  • Here are a few pictures from the German Vermona fan webpage. The Tiracon, however was made as an aside project at an electronics factory in Cottbus "VEB Automatisierungsanlagen Cottbus" (VEB being an abbreviation meaning something like "company owned by the people" in German) from 1987 to 1990 in East Germany. It is your typical 6 note poly-analogue (VCOs!) with Poly61esque usage. The construction was, however, wholly East German - and both the osc and filter cards were discretely built!

  • proste że mama mu daje kase przeciez zagral ze ja kocha.. hehe

  • Ej, mama daje ci kase na te organki?

  • it sounds like a korg poly 61. any takers, possibly a clone?

  • I renege my statement. I will state instead it to be a juno copy. still though, ive seen the chipset on the voicecards. CUSTOM CITY. scary looking.

  • @Gazdatronik

Nope; this was an entirely independent development.

  • Thanks so much for posting videos of these classic synthesizers. You my friend, rock a synth like no other! ;)

  • never heard this synth, but realy love the sound

  • Soundtrack z twojej komunii brzmi jednak lepiej w oryginale maestro.

  • I really, really, really, really like your videos!

  • Reminds me of the Akai AX series synths.

  • nice

  • od 6:06 jakby jakieś depeche mode lub inny synthpopowy zespol

mozna byloby cos z tego skleic, ale to juz nie te czasy...

  • to Majka Jeżowska w duecie z Depeche Mode ;))

  • 2:12 is fantastic. It seemed a little shaky on tuning or something? That's what I liked the most.

  • dude... how do you make your videos??? they are effin' awseome!!! awseome synths too!!! where do you get them all???

  • Can we have a video showing your whole collection? please?

  • You just made my weekend awesome. Actually never even heard of this synth untill now. Thanks a lot!

  • nice video effects, cool synth also

  • "...a ja wole moja mame.." rozje**alo mnie pozytywnie.. Tiracon 6V brzmi zdecydowanie jak niemiecka odpowiedz na japonskiego KORGa ;) zaskakujacy wynalazek. motyw "sondy" wyborny...jakby przyszlo im kiedys wznowic odcinki to tylko ten soundtrack ;)) uradowane ucho na niedziele ;)))

  • one of the strangest synths

i've ever seen (or heard for that matter).

    reminds me of a Poly-61.

    i especialy liked the intro.
