@adi1096 He didn't travel. It's totally legal to take a half step after a dribble before gathering for a two step layup/dunk. If you look really closely his foot is in the air before the last dribble hits the ground, hence it is a half step. I played high school ball all four years and I've been watching NBA since I was little. There is no way this would be called as a travel violation.

It is "technically" a travel, but since the first step is taken at the same time the dribble ends, it doesn't count towards the travel limit. Referees will usually never call this against players. I like to think of it as like 2.5 steps.
