  • The United States, via the CIA, has participated in no fewer than 15 "regime changes" since 1950. Iran was one of them. So was Afghanistan, Cuba, and Iraq.

So all in all, not a great foreign policy strategy in the long run.

  • Looks like the Hebrews are on the war path again. American boys and girls get yourselves ready, cause they will fight to the last drop of your blood.

  • Kristol is a war criminal who is responsible for the death of tens of thousands of human beings. He did it from a distance. But he did it.

  • bill kristol is an evil piece of shit

  • All of these recommendations for "regime change" (read: sending Americans to fight and die for The Empire) coming from a total chickenhawk neocon stooge.

Kristol should be hanging from a very tall tree. Fuck that guy, I have no sympathy or respect for him at all.

  • Bill does not talk about how our CIA subverted a democratic elected goverment (Mosseddeq), bought off the local news and people, staged a coup (led by CIA Kermit Roosevelt), installed our pupit, the Shah of Iran, a dictator, who tortured or killed anyone he wanted to for 25 years, with the US blessing. We did it for the money (Black Gold), Oil. In 1979 the religious people, said enough is enough and exiled the Shah. No wonder Iran hates us, we have been evil toward them with our foreign policy

  • Most conservatives agree with Obama on this one, at least in part. Nation building is a leftist habit traditionally, George W. Bush and the zionist leftist intellectuals called neo-conservatives were the ones who thought using America's military to impose our democratic form of government around the world is wise... conservatives are at heart prudent, thoughtful, mature and put the nation's best interests first.

Obama is still a far-left Marxist disaster and an appeaser of evil of course...

  • Bill Kristol is evil. HIs father was a Communist. His father started the NeoCon movement. Bill continues in his footsteps.. Who DOESN'T this guy want to bomb?

  • WTF! THIS is Obama's defining moment for handling Iranian foreign affairs?? If the people of Iran are having problems with THEIR governement, THEY need to resolve. It's sad if people die, but we inject our country into yet another middle eastern problem, 10's of thousands will die, if not 100's of thousands.

And if Isreal wants to tangle with Iran, go for it you Jewish a-holes. Who gives a shit?!

  • We should get out of there and let them solve it. Israel won't talk so tough without US.

  • Why dont those who want our military to get involve in Iran go themselves? Im sick of my nation getting involved in everyone else's affairs.

  • Lol...I can't believe this moron is still on television. Whats worse is that people take him seriously.

  • Sadly there are still plenty of people that still listen to the Neocons.

  • I think I saw Brit Hume throw up in his mouth a little, I guess he was wistfully remembering the days when he was a real reporter with integrity, and Bill's saber rattling cut through all that. He couldn't say anything to the contrary - he isn't ALLOWED.

  • iran is the "most" free country in the middle east we need 2 stay out of peoples busines they will get nukes if we threaten them anytime something happens

  • Foreign Policy ??? You guys are bankrupt

    1776 Gold $20

    2009 Gold $1000 US

The US dollar is about to become worthless and the "media" is talking about Foreign Policy, at least look at the FACT that the US dollar has some slight value issues ???

This is why the country is going to turn into a third world dung heap. The US population is dumber than a sack of hammers.

  • Yup, but part of that devaluation has to do with the cost of fighting all these wars. keep that in mind.

  • Well sure so when the US defaults on all the currency they're spending , what do you think is going to happen to the rest of the world's currency when the US dollar becomes worthless ?

1971 - Nixon (a crook and traitor) ends gold backing of the US dollar, so the idiot world leaders back then knew this bullcrap would happen, but they would be dead so they went along with it. Pure fiat for world reserve, pure insanity.

  • There's nothing wrong with fiat currency. Except that it should be the people's money and issued and controlled by congress, not private banks and the fed. Fiat currency actually fueled a lot of development for new markets and new technologies. I think basing our money on limited precious metals and pretty stones will only limit our capacity for growth, and artificially at that.

  • I agree nothing wrong with fiat currency until the people in charge of the value of the paper start counterfeiting it to get themselves out of a jam.

There's not enough gold to go around right ? So when gold price goes up, interest rates should go up. Gold is a measurement of the economy. Notice the gold price went down quite dramatically when interest rates went up in the early 80's. If you have 0 interest rates people turn to physical gold instead of the paper for money. Lost confidence..

  • Well if the constitutional powers were restored to the congress that wouldn't be a concern. People can counterfeit gold, too you know. A fiat currency is something that a gov't will accept as payment for taxes. If there are low taxes the money supply will respond to the economy. We can run out of new gold, then what? The congress should be able to deflate and inflate a currency as they wish, and they would be directly responsible to the electorate.

  • People can't counterfeit the interest rate though. The gold price although can be influenced, for ever 1 oz physical 160 oz exist on paper (Fiat gold). That's how they manipulate the price, but even manipulated the gold price creeps up when interest rates are 0.

The gold price sets interest rates, right now interest rates should be 20% if you had a legit "central bank". They're forcing the money supply into hyper-inflation. The rest of the world's fiat money is based on the value of the US$.

  • Yeah I know all this stuff. But still, government controlled fiat currency would be better, because they could tax through inflation and actually REDUCE the money supply. Gold isn't the only factor in setting interest rates, not by a long shot. The price of gold is a measure of the market to some degree, yes. But it doesn't dictate to it if you don't let it, by say not using gold backed currency. Money is entirely psychological, and if the gov't accepts it as tax in a proper system, it's better.

  • "Money is entirely psychological"

So when the idiots in power are manipulating the gold price so obviously (gold should be at least 5,000 US), it just means the the gold price market is being screwed with.

The globe is going into hyper-inflation (all fiat will eventually become worthless).

Gold is money, manipulating the gold price is equivalent to counterfeiting. In this case its purposely screwing with people's head (psychological) so they still have confidence in the paper. ENDGAME

  • This PNAC,Neo Con,Mossad mocking bird wants the CIA funding up raising in Iran to suceed..what a shocker

  • It's "Accelerate."

  • lol
