I have been studying Leonard Orr for over 4 years, now. I have seen him age and youth dramatically from one day to another. The process does not seem to be rigidly, linear. If you look at his recent engagement pictures he looks years younger than his wedding pictures a few months later and than years younger again a few months after that. It is all very interesting to observe.

There is nothing wrong with eating meat. If you look at the holy scriptures and the religions there's mention of the use of animals for food, Jesus with the fish for the last supper, the quran, shamanism (oldest religion in the world who respect animals more than anyone), there is no vegan source of Vitamin D and vitamin b12, it simply does not exist. Vs for his statement that people die the same way as their parent or same sex. Impossible. Mother dies giving birth. Child is female and never produces offspring. Father has a son, and the father dies in war. Son cannot be drafted. Father/Mother dies in a car accident, children do not. Medical conditions are based on a childs choice to do as a parent for external causes. Smoking, Drinking. I haven't witnessed a death of the same kind between a parent and offspring of the same sex. Discard it.

immortality is about living through and beyond the energy that makes up our bodies today. living through emotional patterns and living through aging. i expect leonard to look younger in 100 years than he does now. death is an option, not an inevitability. i know that sounds random if you've never thought about or looked into this stuff. and also... it's NOT a religion.
What about the brain? Oh wait, this circular logic works on all illusionary levels. However, the physical and subjective are linked in profound ways regarding life as a human. The two natures, objective and subjective, are twined together, to form a new dynamic (me, you, etc.) That new dynamic is detirmined by the development or discovery of Both aspects. They are dependant upon eachother. And the unique existance that results from this partnership is more profound than the gods. We die, good!

If you have studied "The Secret" and 'the Law of Attraction' you must then conclude that believing that you are dying will kill you if nothing else does. This is why life long health nuts still get sick and die, because they believe it's inevitable.

In Middle school I used to be deep into all this mess---Leonard Orr and his cronies. Bob Frissell, I used to eat his books up. Now I think they just regugitated old Eastern spiritual teachings, adding just a pinch of bullshit.
He think he's being profound, but he's nonsensical!
I do credit Frissel's books for teaching me, however, how to meditate and go into trance. But again, that's something that I could have learned from a real Yogi.

Interesting ... but why then has Leonard aged if his death urge has been unravelled obviously his ageing urge is still alive, his God has also aged as normal (Indian Guru, not sure his name) he's a business man that makes money out of the gullable, yes I did also buy his books on his panting and overbreathing techniques. Back to the point why has he aged? When he gets to 70 he will look like any ordinary 70 years old, surely he does not have the answer to the question of Immortality.

Vs for his statement that people die the same way as their parent or same sex. Impossible. Mother dies giving birth. Child is female and never produces offspring. Father has a son, and the father dies in war. Son cannot be drafted. Father/Mother dies in a car accident, children do not. Medical conditions are based on a childs choice to do as a parent for external causes. Smoking, Drinking. I haven't witnessed a death of the same kind between a parent and offspring of the same sex. Discard it.

of course people don't always die literally the same way their parents did... but statistically, what leonard is saying is true. you can talk around it with common observations but it's true none the less.

Some lecture. That is merely the way he tries to deal with the death. Pretty lame one. To hide the truth, that he dies and cannot do anything about it in a bunch of beautiful words, and telling that it's ok to be sick and die - is nothing, but hypocrisy. I will not even listen to this deathist's excuse for philosophy.
In my opinion it's better idea to support SENS project. This man is a mess.

immortality is about living through and beyond the energy that makes up our bodies today. living through emotional patterns and living through aging. i expect leonard to look younger in 100 years than he does now. death is an option, not an inevitability. i know that sounds random if you've never thought about or looked into this stuff. and also... it's NOT a religion.

What about the brain? Oh wait, this circular logic works on all illusionary levels. However, the physical and subjective are linked in profound ways regarding life as a human. The two natures, objective and subjective, are twined together, to form a new dynamic (me, you, etc.) That new dynamic is detirmined by the development or discovery of Both aspects. They are dependant upon eachother. And the unique existance that results from this partnership is more profound than the gods. We die, good!
