The greatest screams from UnderOath of all time, when the drums and bass come in at I believe the bridge, it plays with your mind so much and then hits you with "aware at every step", I get chills that could freeze hell over.
@kjeezy101 every Nu metal band ever sounds like Korn. Metalcore can be a little more diverse. I think Underoath has made headway in their genre and are pretty recognizable. But if you are telling me bands like Adema and Coal Chamber don't sound like korn, then i feel sorry for you lack of "ear"
@kjeezy101 got an email with your response in it, so it doesnt matter that you removed this. In what way am I a scene kid? You dont know what I listen to, how I look, etc. I hardly ever listen to underoath, but i used to listen a lot. Korn used to be my favorite band so you can't say i am biased. Korn only has 3/5 of their original members, and their maind songwriter left first. Your responses are just ignorant and hold no truth.
@allhopeisgonee yes, they are very much christian. aaron left the band and is coming out with with his own gospel album pretty soon, if it hasnt released already.
im a drummer and i was playing this song, and this songs is so fucking hardcore i fucked up a brand new snare head playing these bad ass breakdowns, amen underoath.
THIS TRANSPARENT!!! SCENERY!!! .,...fuck why is everything so fucking fake i fucking swear to fucking god spencer is right.. returning empty handed time after time after time why won't god just take my prayers and send me to another hell!!! i WANT THE FUCK OUT!!
this song has something that this whole album has that i think disambiguation is missing...like that x factor that makes it better, thats just my opinion tho, i have been listening to disambiguation a ton and still love it lol
In honor and anticipation of Underoath's upcoming album Disambiguation being released on November 9, 2010, prjunky.com wants to know with all the changes with the band throughout the years, how long have you been a fan for? What turned you on to listen to Underoath? Have their songs impacted you in any way? Let us know by leaving your comments on prjunky.com to share with everyone. Be sure to take our quick poll.
love that album! Can't believe I looked over this band for more than a year because I always read it as "Unearth" and thought it was the same band :| fuck dyslexia lol
Lyrically and musically, this album is the most innovative creation to ever come out of any band in recent years. I think its one of the greatest pieces of art ever.
92% of teenagers have turned to Hip Hop and Pop.If you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this message to another 5 videos.
Define The Great Line is still the greatest collection of tracks ever amassed by one group of individuals. Each song is so powerful in its own way. This album is the reason why Underoath remains to this day, my favorite band. I don't know what direction they'll go in now that Aaron has departed, but I'm sure it will be the right direction. No other band in the entire music scene even comes close to Underoath, heck, many of the bands in this scene wouldn't exist without Underoath.
@jessesexjesse I believe Underoath is the top selling post-hardcore band of all time, if I remember my facts correctly. I think it's gonna stay that way. They without a doubt changed music, anyone who denies their talent is simply ignorant to music. Even my MOTHER will admit the music is great.
I like underoath because they dont bible thump their just real. They dont say believe in Jesus Christ now! They say if you do you do if you dont you dont. They have such a crazy music sense! and Spencer and the newer stuff is only getting better
Though these guys are total homophobic creationist douchebags in real life, I will admit, as an atheist, that they're talented musicians. At least in their latest two releases they've proven themselves to be, definitely.
@llamazz They've said in the past about how they don't think gays should be allowed to marry or really have rights. That's what them and Fat Mike got in an argument about during one Warped Tour.
While not believing in gay marriage =/= homophobia, I know, it's not a huge jump from making guesses.
But they're not as blatantly homophobic as the guy from The Devil Wears Prada, who thinks being gay is like the worst thing ever from what I've seen in interviews. And surprise surprise, TDWP sucks
oh ok. yea i like thier music but i dont even want to listen to it because they are such homophobes. im not gay but living in california i have many gay friends so i can understand how they feel about all the discrimination. and which tdwp band mate is it? they seemed like pretty open minded guys. eh guess not
@llamazz I don't know about the whole band, but Hranica is pretty homophobic from what I've seen. I don't care for the band anyway, so whatever ;P
I'm not Christian (athiest nihilist), but I like plenty of Christian bands, and it pisses the hell out of me when people don't want to listen to a band solely because of their religion.
@TehPirateSquid It makes sense for Hranica and anyone else in the band to be homophobic, the same with Underoath. All of them are probably homophobic. But they're still pretty good to listen to.
@llamazz just bcuz ur christian doesnt mean ur a homophobe if anythign thats a sin, it says to love one another as i've loved you. As far as Homosexuality, That is A sin And an abolishment to God Yet again He see's all sin the same value
Slipknot and korn are both absolute jokes, and underoath and modern metalcore owes them nothing. and i am 100 percent glad if fans of these bands hate me and send me shitty comments cause we ccould never get along anyways. They are a bunch of pissed off dudes with zero sense of artistic value and the whole "were so creepy metal metal metal!!" thing is really over done. and as for korn baggy camo cargo pants....enough said
@radiozv ask underoath what they think of korn and slipknot. im pretty sure they'd say some nice things about them. and FYI, Spencer's favorite band is Deftones, which is in the same genre (and co-founders) and is very good friends with both Korn and Slipknot. If you think metalcore owes nothing to numetal you're mistaken.
Oh and just to put this out there, I'm not insulting Slipknot or Korn, both are great bands, I just don't believe they are the foundation of Underoath, which by the way I'm also a fan of.
Wow... Elaborate... How is christianity hypocritical? Its not. Thats just how you perceive it... I am not catholic, baptist, methodist... I'm christian because i think that I am supposed to talk to God not a priest.

its an awesome song but 1:45 to 3:00 is the best part agreed. i just like the little bridge/fill thingy... it leads to an awesome end. :) this is an awesome ass band!!! aaron and tim hit some SICK ass notes!!
i wish they'd make a video for this song.... this song is like one of the most emotional songs on the album....("everyone looks so good from here" is the MOST emotional)
no he screams like someone who's not afraid of himself..... one of the only artists out there who ISN'T....all those wimps crying ...no one knows what i go through....... yeah spencer's WAY better than that... and then the wannabe screamers that make me want to puke... go find something better than spencer and THEN come trash him (you won't find anything better)

l like the part 1:15 - 1:30 best. That line is kind of poetic, and his scream combined with the rythmics at that place is brutally awesome <3

I like aaron's part at 2:17-2:35 with the drums, and the next part with spencer sort of singing and growling simultaneously.
and 1:01-1:11.

i wish they'd make a video for this song.... this song is like one of the most emotional songs on the album....("everyone looks so good from here" is the MOST emotional)

no he screams like someone who's not afraid of himself..... one of the only artists out there who ISN'T....all those wimps crying ...no one knows what i go through....... yeah spencer's WAY better than that... and then the wannabe screamers that make me want to puke... go find something better than spencer and THEN come trash him (you won't find anything better)
