Dredg usually create albums with a theme...maybe this albums theme is the emptiness of popular music. Obviously just speculation on my part, and it would be a risky move if the fans missed it. Maybe Dredg has a lot of faith in their fans?
@MantaRay8912 I don't think any fan has to like any album just because "one of my favorite artists made it". I love dredg. This, however, is their worst album. It's okay compared to any other band (mediocre, actually), but not amazing and definitely a lackluster performance compared to their other stuff. This, however, is one of the songs I actually like on the album. It's plain, but it's good. That's about it.
Ignore the whining about how the album sucks, it's just people whining about nothing... Their sound didn't really change AT ALL! The only difference is like more synth...
This is the only track I find enjoyable from their whole album. I'm sure I would appreciate it tremendously in time, but I just don't have that sort of time to devote to it.
At first I didn't like it, but I kept finding myself singing it out loud when i wasn't paying attention to anything, and humming it to myself in class. After a few successive listens, I'm actually a huge fan of this song.
