  • I'm moved to tears. I live with my own miracle - nearly died of untreated kennel cough in a high kill shelter, adopted and surrendered 3 times before me because he is deaf (he got the kennel cough on his last stint there). Two vets gave up on him. I didn't. There are days I look at him, and I'm in awe and honored just to be in his presence. He's amazing, and he ABSOLUTELY deserved his 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th chance. Just bc you can't help them all, doesn't mean you shouldn't help one.

  • :( so sad i cried

they all have the right to live just like any human

  • wher do you know from that they belong to one family?

  • Love ((virtual HUGS))) to the kitties of Catlanta. God bless the humans who are making this happen. Hurray for TNR! Thank you.

  • How can society think we have a chance at saving ourselves. If we cant even save a defenceless animal. People like you give humanity a chance.

  • In 2009 my friend found a 4 week old kitten dumped on the side of the main road. She brought the kitty to my house and he was meowing so much but when I held him he calmed down <3.. Later on we found he had cerebral palsy and everyone said he wasn't going to live... It's been 2 years and 3 months and he is still happy, living and extremely spoiled :)

  • allied alley cats can help, donate please to them, every cent counts

  • ive seen a miracle first hand...i have a one yr old kitty named shorty who shouldnt be alive.when she was born she was less than 2 inches and when she was 5 weeks old she looked and acted like a small 2 week old kitten, she couldnt eat canned food she had her eyes open but couldnt control them and she could barely even walk...i bottle fed her and 3 weeks of getting up to feed her at night she finally started eating canned food.now she is half the size of a grown cat but healthy. she is my baby

  • :'( At first, my eyes got watery, but then, it showed how some of them were hurt. I just broke down.

  • aw, makes me cry

  • I wish I could rescue them all,

Imho the big issue nowadays is that our society is a throwaway society.

An item is not good/cute enough anymore, not en vogue or broken ... dump it.

    Same goes unfortunately with pets.

The first sign of unease or bills to pay and they got dumped.

Drives me nuts when I see our internal classifieds at work "kitten to give away" ...

And always the same guys posting them.

And as soon as kitten is adult they got dumped because the next free kitten is available.

  • Aww I love cats so much! Why would anyone want to abandon a cute little cat?

  • interesting...don't they come back for food though? knowing that they have someone to feed them?

  • How do you make a misanthropic black metal listening devil worshipping old bastard cry?

Show him a video about homeless kitties with that sad song lady singing, thats how. Damn you, my reputation is ruined now.

  • @nikkivixen1 Misanthropic black metal listening devil worshiping old bastards are some of the sweetest people I know.

  • @nikkivixen1 haha. I know the feeling. I'm a a death metal/grindcore loving frosty bitch and I was bawling like a child at the end of this video. There goes my street cred (:

  • @nikkivixen1 Best response ever? I think so.

  • the first video i ever see without dislikes... :D

even assholes cant ruin something so pure

    thank you

  • her back. basically telling me they where going to kill her. my boyfriend and i stayed up nights with her. and now she is the best kitten ever !! after about 2..3 days

i love her. and want to save all animals

  • beautiful video

  • i believe this is my kitten in the video ! the part where it shows a black cat. from the side and laying down. with half a white nose. it looks the same as mine. and she was a stray. im sitting with her now crying. because i got her at ACC rescue. and she was very sick hours after she left there with a 104.7 fever. she was sneezing blood, and her mouth was open, hardly breathing. the vet said the bill was $1500. and i yelled at ACC for not taking care of the cats. and they didnt want to give me

  • Wow, what a kind person you are helping these beautiful animals. I have two ferals who ended up in my yard when they didn't take to neighbor's yard after they were trapped, neutered, spayed and released. She adopted them, but it didn't work out. So they wandered to my yard, and I've been feeding and caring for them for the last two years. The neighbor didn't mind. They won't let you pet them, but they will sit close to me, and they are very beautiful animals. :) Janet

  • MAY GOD BLESS YOU. I JUST REMEMBER I SAVE MY LOVELY CAT AND KNOW HE BECOME MY FAMILY CAT AND HE IS MY HEROES. I HAVE SAVE HIM IN THE BOX. HIS OWNER HAD PUT HIM IN THE BOX AND PLACE HIM UNDER THE SUN. IT WAS SO HOT THAT DAY. WHEN I TOOK HIM I THINK HE WILL NEVER SURVIVED. BUT LUCKILY KNOW HE ALMOST 6 YEAR OLD AND 6 KG. HE KNOW WHAT TIME I WILL BACK FROM SCHOOL. AND HE WILL NEVER FORGET TO WAIT ME AT THE DOOR

  • ive done this (TNR) to all my kitties in my neighborhood:]]

  • aw this made me cry. i hope all the others are doing alright

  • A very touching story...miracles, we ALL need it:)

  • Thank you for doing something immensely worthwhile and loving for our wonderful, furry friends. :)

  • unbelievable! we need more people like you in this world. i have 2 cats and 1 dog. the cats were adopted and the dog was rescued by my husband.

check out our videos if you wish.

    take care

  • awwwwwwwwwwww

  • I made my own little group to help strays. My brother is very allergic and my dad hates cats, so I can't keep any. But in my group we feed the strays and give them new water, if they are friendly enough we find them new homes. Although we don't have enough money to T-N-R so we make posters advertising it. (check my profile to see the vid of it)

  • I took care of 3 strays:1 black,one black and grey,and one grey. I miss them!

  • That's great to know we are there to help each other no matter who is just make sure that we always be there for them. Thanks for helping them.

  • All of my cats are also rescues. Years ago the first one I got from a shelter. Three kittens barely 2 weeks old had been dumped at the police station by someone who found them in their yard. Another showed up already pregnant at my doorstep. Yet another brought me her babies when she realized she could trust me and they were old enough to walk from wherever she was keeping them. I have neutered every single one of them. I cannot turn my back on them unlike the countless irresponsible owners.

  • wait, so, you take them from their horrible homes, "fix" them, then release them back to their horrible homes?

  • @teetee1324

If their neighborhoods are inappropriate/dangerous, the cats are moved.

  • i'm a cat lady too,in italy!good luck!

  • i hope all of the cats thre will be adopted sooner..

take care of those precious cat because they are precious to our beloved Jesus Christ.bless you

  • S Buff

I think you are a wonderful, compassionate person to do this! You have helped so many cats have the life they deserve. God put these animals here on earth to enjoy, nurture and love them not be treated like some object you just toss away. They feel all emotions a human does! I pray that more people feel like you and me and help these dear little innocent souls! Also everybody who reading this if you really want a pet be sure you are ready to handle the responsibilites that go with it!

  • Bless you, bless you, bless you. People like you are wonderful.

  • It took me 7 weeks, but I finally got Freya, my feral cat, in the house. She's resting comfortably in her "room," then off to the vets we'll go in a few weeks.

  • HEART!

  • We are looking for a cat or kitten with CH. We have a boy "Tim" who has cerebellar hypoplasia and he is 12 yrs old.

  • twoolensack - what part of the country are you in? I just found out that 4 of my latest litter (I foster) probably have CH.

  • Youngstown Ohio

  • Raleigh, NC Their symptoms keep coming and going so the diagnosis is still not firm. They're 10 weeks old and sweeties!! Let me know how you do on your search. I would be willing to travel to find them good homes.

  • sweet lil babys, all of em deserve a family to care for em. its our fault we made their kind dependent on us. I love them all.

  • thank you, i stongly believe that ALL pets should be nurtered/spayed. when i got my cat, he was already fixed, he was abandoned, anf found dec. 17, 2007, i met him december 31, 2007, and he came home with mr January 3, 2008, and it was my fathers birthday, and he worked at the shelter where i got him, and my father handled the adoption. right now my cat is running in and out of a box, he loves boxes lol

  • Your dad was good to do that , he sounds like a nice guy, enjoy the new family member ;-)

  • iam enjoying him so much, right now hes on my lap watching me type this message, i love him so much, he just had his shots, and didnt even flinch when the vet injected him, hes such a good kitty, i love his purrrrr

  • That was a great comment, made me smile. i have 5 cats, i remember all of them as kittens, REMEMBER....take alot of photos, they are only kittens for a short time ;-) Take care, bye.

  • i got my cat as an adult, and i have LOTS of pics, hes a camera hog lol, i even have pics of him drinking out of my water glass, and my cat is leash trained, he likes his walks

  • Slideshow in the works ? Go on ;-)

  • may be, dont know yet, gota get all pics resized then on a disk, up here, i have no clue how to do it lol

  • I do TNR here in Hong Kong.. ;-)

  • There are too many cats to try and home, I support TNR everywhere I see it! Kudos!

  • Man this vid was a tear jerker. Poor furballs just want what we all want in life.... love and to be loved. To have a place that's safe, and be around caring people.

  • God bless you...how I cried, I wish i could take them all and give them cuddles and a warm home.

  • exceptional Video.. I appreciate my t wo cats even more..... and will pass on my love of cats. i wish I could donate money to assist these unfortunatle animals. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • and something else .... guys are you crying about animals ? ... well tell you something , go cry about the people who are dying in palastine

  • Comment removed

  • At least they have a voice to cry out!

  • well sent bibles to the leaders and tell them to stay out of church and pictures of the ones who died sitting in bombshelters

nad many people do donate towards people all over the world, but some leaders also on the otr side behead aid workers and what is te sence of doing that . many people are aigainst what happens out there, but some governmetns get voted on. does not mean the other half of the nation does not agree what happens out there.

  • i am trapping a few more ,o this will never ever happen to the feral ones i am trapping. so neuture your cat and htis will be a thing of the past in 10 years time.

    and pass the message on.

if you can afford it start neuturing as well.

then in 10 yeasrs time we can say WHERE ARE THE KITTENS

AND our children and your children will have to go onto the internet to see pictures

but hta twil be a dream.

so start neuturing a cat when you see it in your bushes.

    amen

  • i bottle fed my bailey ,he looked like him in the video they all thought i was mad

well i may be mad, but in 10 years time the town i live in will be kitten free and i hope the RATS WILL BE BACK IN TOWN

  • We have four cats - two were rescued from a feral litter when their eyes were still cloudy. Two years later they are the sweetest of cats - sweet loving playful and responsive.Thay were some of the lucky ones and my heart aches for the ones who aren't.

  • dom take it easy with lanuge

  • This video is absolutely beautiful. Of course, it made me cry. I have a CH kitten, and I love her to pieces. Life would be much more boring and empty without her. Thank you SO much for the work you do. If everyone did only a fraction of what you do, the abuse of innocents would be reduced greatly. Only those who are truly ignorant promote the needless killing of these wonderful creatures.

  • srysrysrysry i cursed people EVERY ONE READ THIS COMMENT!!!!!

OK i was telling someone to kill themself because they didnt care about cats

they are just like humans i hope you forgive me Withpurrpose

PLZZZZZZZZZz if you dont then i dont know what will happen

I LOVE CATS!!!!!!!!=( i didnt want you to think i hate because i dont.

  • made me cry=(

  • i trapped a cat and now its in my home fine! please can i be your friend

  • That made me cry so much. I think what you are doing is incredible. Thank you

  • Beautifull! I post this video on the hyve from my catshelter for disabled cat's. I hope you don't mind?!

Can you tell me from who this song is?

  • Sarah McLachlan-Ordinary Miracle

  • Miracles happen because there are angels like you to help them. Beautiful video, and I hope it encourages more people to help feral and stray cats.

  • @crepuscularone I have saved 5 cats this winter and I have rescued one just this weekend that was positive for FIV and it broke my heart....this video made me freaking cry!!!!

  • Thank you.

  • This video was beautiful! This reminds me of my cat Sheba! I rescued her from and abandoned burnt down house and she was nothing but skin and bones and suffered from heat stroke!God had mercy on her! She now is a lovable healthy Cat! She loves her new family! and I love you too. God does care for animals! God Bless You.

  • Thanks for making this great video and save the cats! Thanks so much!

  • great video! reminded me of Thor, my cat, he was trapped in the sewer, here in mexico city... when i finally reached him he was all bitten, the doc said it must have been his mother, because she noticed something wrong or he was weak, well, he was the size of a cd, and now he's a 13 year old fat cat (well, not fat, but he has a tummy, like old people)

  • This is an absolutely beautiful video. It brought tears to my eyes. I help a woman trap and release when I can. I have three of them and found a home for another. I take care of a small group of kitties in my yard.

Your video sends a true message. Thank you for sharing this.

  • So you know, there are people who appreciate what you do.

  • I love reading discussions from people who disagree just to disagree...the point is there are way too many abandoned pets and abused animals that go feral, and any humane effort to keep them from reproducing deserves support

  • Congrats on being a kitty hero!

  • Great video, you guys. I am a stray cat rescuer myself--my four cats were all former strays. My father taught me to be kind to cats and how wonderful they are. Thank you for letting people know about TNR and that we all need to make a conscious effort to control the pet population.

  • excellent job on this video. Thank you! I volunteer in rescue too.

  • Keep up the great work, I loved the video and I beleive in TNR it works. Check out Cat House on the Kings, I do resue for them:)

  • I am back, i agree with theanimaladvocate everything you have said i have been through, and i didn't read most of the comments, it was kind of painful. I saw some that didn't live, some i rescued. 1 girl cat that never had babies and was forced from the colony while the other mom's/babies were where they continued to play and be raised. I worked as a vol. with the Helping Paws. I will send this video to the lady that got me started. What a heart wrenching video, but ty for it.

  • Oh my GOOD LORD! i used to feed feral kittens/cats. I made friends with them under a viaduct where cars parked all hours of the day/night. I would go during rain or sunshine to make sure they had dry food or something to eat, and to drink. I did this for 8 yrs. Then a man came along and he took it over. Thank the Lord for Good people. Amen

  • Very touching. I would like to link this to my organizations web page! I do TNR and I bawled! Kitten season is upon us guys, spay and neuter everyone you can catch.

  • As PETA has said, the cat trappers pat themselves on the back for saving the kitten and then put mom back. Guess she does not matter or somehow has a different home (yeah right) than how this video started out.

  • She matters! They did the best thing they could do for her, they spayed her. She doesn't have to have litter after litter and only has to worry about feeding herself. She is feral she doesn't want to be a pet. Feral cats are afraid of humans! The kittens can be socialized and not fear humans. Momma is happier being put back to where she made her home.

  • I agree. It's not that nothing can be done for the mother, it's that feral cats make the choice of if they want you to do it or not. If the cat comes around caring humans enough, they can learn to be tame. The problem is that there aren't enough caring humans out there in the wild for them to come into contact with on a constant basis. Let them be wild if they want to be, but help them as a group by controlling their over-population via spay neuter. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHELTERS!!!

  • HUMBUG!!! I've trapped, tamed and placed many mom cats...as well as older kittens and adult males. I have also s/n many very young kittens that were very feral, vicious, and untameable. S/n them and placed them back out. Most trappers take each cat on a case by case basis and do not generalize by age. If a cat can be tamed, we will do it and place it for adoption regardless of age. I kept an 18 month old wild child, now a love bug- Don't generalize. How many cats have YOU helped tame and place?

  • Tamed plenty. Including adults. Those outside ferals have plenty to worry about - they don't die of old age! And TNR does not stop the cycle. Those cats do not prevent others from joining the colony - the colonies do not die out.

  • Please go to the Alley Cat Allies website. There is a such thing as the vacuum effect. The cycle can only be stopped by humans spaying and neutering and commiting to a cat for life. I work in rescue and you don't know how many times I have heard, we are moving and can't keep our cat. Bullcrap, try harder.

  • In SOME colonies, they don't. After years managing 3 - 20+, I saw SOME colonies' members decline through attrition. I've seen 'outsiders' challenge a colony member, until outsider is TNRd. When one colony of 20+ dispersed, new ones came in, & because no one feeding, outsiders moved several blocks; people fed from home. One thing learned, every colony & every situation is different; when we acted accordingly, it really worked. Read the studies. One rule with cats = there are no rules.

  • There is not one study that indicates a statistically significant reduction in the outdoor cat population or that TNR will eliminate cat colonies through natural attrition. I HAVE read through plenty of studies. If you have something specific in mind, then give a citation or reference.

  • I have spayed/neutered over 236 cats! Some do come around and are tameable but only the caretaker of the colony knows this. I have two former ferals and they are very loveable. Go to the Alley Cat Allies website and read up on what is really best for a feral cat.

  • Remove the cats. Remove the food. No vacuum effect. Been to the ACA website - no merit there IMO. But I agree, people are dumping left and right and they should try harder. I also think though that colonies serve as dumping grounds. I do not think cat colonies are best for domestic animals and I know plenty of folks who never managed a cat colony, but know how to tame and successfully have tamed ferals.

Google "TNR Reality Check" - you'll get the other point of view.

  • thats an amazing amount of cats to save. : )

  • What a wonderful, sweet video. I felt happy and sad. Sad that this is such a terrible existence for them and happy that people like you are me are out there helping them. I currently have one feral I am taming and this brought back memories of our first rough days together. She is the sweetest, most loving and grateful cat. She knows what I saved her from and she shows me how much she loves me and appreciates what I did for her everyday. Thank you so much for making this video!

  • Great video. Thanks from a fellow TNR advocate.

  • Your video made me cry. We have participated in the TNR program. The cats went from fighting all the time to rubbing up against each other. Your video is OUTSTANDING. God bless you--very very much. I don't know you, but I think I love you!

  • Thanks for posting. It all seems so overwhelming at times. And there's such a simple solution... spay and neuter.

  • that was so sad. and depressing. i promise my two cats will never end up like this.

  • I can only watch that again after taking a few minutes. Thanks for posting this.

  • Beautiful kitties.
