  • the f-16 has the tightest turning radius of all us jets hence the reason it did what it just did no other us aircraft will turn that tight that fast take it from a pilot who has flown one

  • i wouldnt want to be in that jet

  • I'm not sure with the F-16 but don't they bog the plane down so it cant push over 9G's (The plane is capable of much more) but the pilot would prolly not survive or be able to stay awake at all? Just wondering.

  • @Gdunn585 an F-15 pilot once pulled 14g in combat so i guess not

  • You think that could have possibly been during a testing phase before they maid the fly by wire not allow the plane to turn over 9 G's? The reason that they keep it at 9 is because 9 is hard enough to keep conciousness, with training you can still stay awake up to around 12 - 14, possibly more but its impractical because pilots have some trouble flying and locking into/killing a target or avoiding a killshot at 6 G's, its very difficult at 9 and 14 would just be overkill.@k2477456

  • @Gdunn585 my CAP commander told me the other day that the biggest reason is beyond 9gs the pilots vertibra start to fuse

  • @k2477456 Ouch... sounds like a bit much but with those types of forces you never know...

  • @k2477456

The odd +9 G happens all the time when something doesn't quite go according to plan but generally there is a 9g max because +9 isn't something that can be sustained by a pilot for a meaningful amount of time.

Besides you should view some Formula 1 crash reports, those guys experience +50 g's on impact because of the massive deceleration.

  • @rolandmik yes something did happen he overrided the system and he said the adrenaline kept him awake but the F-15 F-22 and F-16 all are set for sustained 9 g max the F-18 is the only fighter set for 7g im not sure why

  • this single engine is much bigger than one of the two engines that a two engine aircraft has. The difference in size makes up for it.

  • you're my man F-16 is an aircraft that can take the life of its pilot, old as she is, but she can still fly in circles around the newest aircraft in the world, she says simply, mip mip ... roouuuummmm ...

  • About 3 seconds into that turn I think I would have gone into a coma

  • Nice camera work...most people are retarded with video cameras at air shows.

  • That hurt!

  • lol how did he not pass out and fall out of the sky

  • it's called a g suit and training

  • awesome. The pilot has Mad skills!

  • he wasnt pulling 9gs the whole time there you could tell by how much he was bleeding going into the turn

  • Strain strain strain!

  • is it mayday?man I would love to be a supremem being and know that from my kitchen chair, fucking bonehead! how many hours you have logged in the f-16?lol

  • Oh my body! I could feel that from my chair! 5 stars.

  • Cool, but that's not full afterburner

  • That gots to hurt

  • i heared from an ex RN fighter jock that the fly by wire jets can have maneuvres preprogramed so that the pilot can just line it up on the computer, press the big green button and pass out and then come too, land and wipe the dribble off his face in time to impregnate any girls who were watching

  • @afs101 HAH, epic :D

  • @afs101 nope.. at least not he F-16

  • @afs101 Not true.

  • @afs101 No this is not true. fly by wire only works like that on Firing. can be preprogrammed on coordinates, but not the maneuvers

  • @afs101 I wish it were that simple :(

  • OOOOO I feel the pilot lol.

  • wow..

  • I can almost feel the tremendous crush of weight the pilot must be feeling. Thank God for G-Suits or this pilot would be out and that plane heading for the ground.

  • actually the f-16 has a sensor that detects when the pilot loses conciousness and it auto piots it till he can come to.

  • Hydrazines no fun. I had a pilot fire off the EPU while we were under the jet launching and specs were troubleshooting FLCS. Thats a lot of beer.

  • DAMN!! good thing the pilot didn't black out.

  • Ouch... XD

  • that is frginn tight,,,, imagine the look on his face if you could see through his helmet

  • mad!

  • omg 9g is a terrible feeling

  • awesome... I´m proud of them when I see stuff like this

  • HOLY SHIT!!!

  • We called fighter crewchiefs "booger hookers." Hehe. However, when I worked F-16s, I was martialing qualified..so I got stuck learning how to be an emergency or "as needed" crewchief. I did resist the urge to hook a booger though! =)

  • lmao you stupid.....there's qualifying for marshalling? shit they just taught us in tech school how to do that.....lol i guess when you're anything other than crewchief you have to qualify huh?

  • You're calling me stupid? As I can tell by your comment, you just graduated from tech school yes? I've been working on jets for 22 years Airman. When you're not a crew chief, then yes, you have to get qualified to marshall. In my case, being aircraft fuel systems, one must get qualified to marshall for hydrazine response team. Not a wise idea to call NCOs stupid by the way..I'll let ya slide this time. =)

  • lol i'm from the northeast stupid means "funny"... but i didn't know that, a friend of mine is in fuels, and he's in aviano right now, but yeah heard some scary stories about hydrazine. lol like if i come in contact with it, run away and take off all my clothes right there on the flight line? lol that's what my instructor told us lol... idk.

  • Yep, they call the fire department, you strip (but no tips, sorry) and they hose you down if you get soaked in it. If you can smell it, you're already over-exposed. I got exposed to the fumes once, but I haven't had any bad side efea;dkjf;x;lcxkvj...effects even..haha ;o). It's a rocket fuel btw. The Germans used it for one of their interceptors during WWII

  • a tank rat...?

Ough ...bad memories....but it paid the bills..

  • I know the pilot in the jet was trying all the way to catch his breath

  • I'M TRAINING TO BE A CREW CHIEF ON THAT!!!!!

    16s HUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

    UNITED STATES AIR FORCE

    ABOVE ALL!

  • holy shit check out the condensed air around the wings.....that's 9G for sure if not even more..

  • i'd cut off 3 fingers for a chance to do that!

  • 9G`s? For 15-17 secs? impossible

  • watch the 5_BNu9cEd8o youtube video

    are you sure???

  • g-suits.

    sometimes, they go for longer.

  • G-suits are good for taking away only 1.5-3 G's at most, so you better have a good AGSM if you wanna pull 9 or 10 g's.

  • Agreed. 9G's thoroughly sucks.

  • even if you black out u can function a bit.

its only when u loose consciousness due to g-loc that u cant take any action.

  • holy shit...talk about serious headrush...i ot one just watching it

  • its the opposite of a headrush :D all your weight goes to your feet, and you head loses oxygen (causes you to black out) now if all the blood rushes to your head in negative g's you will have a grey out.. which is less common but worse for the body

  • Its lack of blood to the brain that causes the black out also known as G Lock. A Grey-out is experienced prior to black out, during a Grey-out you are still able to function a little. When you get in to negative G's you experience red out. I never have experienced either... haha i only fly small aircraft!

  • hehe good for you float, no bad G's for you.

it look cool seeing it in the air but i wouldn't want to be on that plane :(

  • Ha ha ha it does look super cool. but you know i would love to experience it just once! just to feel it. maybe not a full 360 though..... hahaha

  • wow!

  • Thats frikkin awesome!!!! Those pilots are machines!!! Such Precision!
