This is BS. I have known several people that have had the ANTHRAX vaccine. Its been 10+ years and not one have had symptoms. Of course you can experience these symptoms, sore throat, mild fever, muscle aches, and/or tiredness. That is less than 10% of the population. You sign up for the military for your country, not for yourself. Service before self.

I agree with you beastly. I got the shots, ended up with health problems, and I am not part of any "study." The VA isn't doing studies. The VA is belittling us.

Neo Plasams, bone tumors, brittle bones, joint pain, M.S. and many more, I can give you the reference!!!

I mean I have had a bone tumor removed, broke my arm 2 times, herniated a disk, and have curvature of the spine....

All of that from being top fit 4 years ago, got out in 06'!!!

@ctrackmonger I am sorry if you feel that my comment was a bit harsh, but I do believe it is a necessary evil if you come in contact with anthrax. I have had two active duty personnel that have come in contact with a pure strand of anthrax and never contracted the infection. This made me believe that it was worth it. Just like the flu shot, there are always complications for those that may be allergic to it.

I ended up taking the shot, and accepting an Article 15 and a demotion. I would have "ridden it out" all the way to a court martial, but my wife is pregnant and is due in November. She honestly doesn't need any more stress. I won't be back home in time to see the birth of our child, and we need the health benefits the Army provides.

I can at least say I've offered to be one of the plaintiffs in the class action lawsuit

All power to you! Mandatory vaccination is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! It violates the very basic freedom of being able to decide what goes into one's body. There is absolutely no evidence to show that vaccines prevent diseases and NO PROOF whatsoever that the anthrax vaccine prevents anthrax! As a soldier you may be "government property", but that doesn't give them the right to use you as a guinea pig for experimental vaccines. Let us know how you get on! Do you have a lawyer?
