P3 did not have a superior story to P4. P4 was an upgraded all round better game than P3. People just enjoy the anime, stop screeching about P3 on a P4 video. You've got Trinity Soul, FES and PSP version. I've watched the first two eps and the series is very good. If you want a P3 anime just play the game. It was more of an anime than a video game anyway.

Also that applies to you as well. It's your opinion that P3 was better. P3 by gameplay standards was very bad, it is the worst out of all of the persona games. Story, music and character wise it's good. P4 improved all of these into a very good solid game. From an objective view, P4 is more solid than P3

@helix2grim I do agree with you the story was more epic and climacitc P4s story i think had better build up and mystery and the social link side stories and characters were much better. P3s story had a few holes in it and a habit of dropping rather stupid bits P4 isnt perfect either some of the plot twists were a bit obvious. I enjoyed both but P3 was more of an epic movie. While P4 was a chilling game. Each to their own, but I wish people would stop saying P3 is better with no reason.

Anyone who says Persona - Trinity Soul - is the Persona 3 Anime is a retard. Just because Akihiko is in it, doesn't mean it's P3. It also takes place 10 years after P3, not to mention it's not even Canon.

And it's not even that bad. I don't think P3 would be that good in Anime, anyway. P4 is much more anime-y material, if you come to think of it.

The game isn't just limited to the story. While I think 4 had the more fun and gratifying plot and better characters, even you have to admit, P4 fixed so many gameplay errors in 3. For instance, the social links were so unbalanced based on your time in 3, controlling your party, getting rid of the fatigue system, and stopping abuse of health regeneration
