these guys were kinda the hippie band of the late 80 early 90's....all their music had a message, not just love songs and break up songs....and yeah jocknjoller, he had some rockin hair
If this album had been released 2 years later (after Nirvana/Pearl Jam hit) it would have been HUGE. Sadly, in 1989 were were still being flooded with cookie cutter Poison/Motley Crue stuff.
The new band mates wtih him are even better and Kory got even better. I guess living in places of peace far from the usa has really done him good. I am happy for him and glad they love him in europe. Most americans were too stupid to know what they had there and hated truth even in the 80s so he left the usa too
I LOVE Warrior Soul! Could not find thier cd's in Tennessee...was so happy to move back out west where the great music can be found!! I did get a lot of TN people loving them though...who couldnt! :)
It sucks that they got buried under the Seattle grunge movement & never got the recognition that they deserved. They are a great band & Kory Clark has a voice that I'd put up there w/Rob Halford & Bruce Dickinson.
All I want for Christmas is music like this!!! There were so many great bands/ songs/ in this era of music. I really hope it makes a comeback. Just good stuff.
when the apocalypse sounds this good - roll on 2012! and you just KNOW Kory Clarke will be there at the forefront of the Survival Movement screaming, "I FUCKIN' TOLD YOU, MOTHERFUCKERS!"
ok.. they still hunts the inside of your brain.. i cant even rest when i sleep.. so fuckin underrated.. seen them live 2 times in a year.. 200 and me at a warrior soul concert... well, Mötley crue was there.. fucking OVERrated compared to Warrior soul
@TheDJuliete I been listening to them recently and it something that could have been released yesterday in terms of Subject matter and Sound. It definately still gets me fired up. I agree these guys do rock well said.
Fuck!Warrior Soul is great!I couldn´t listen to them back in the Nineties because their stuff couldn´t be found in my hometown-i´m mexican-,but the wait was worthwhile! Thanks for uploading this gem!
Totally kicks ass!! I remember an interview I saw on MTV with Korey Clarke, the lead singer. He said there all kinds of ways to live beyond the reach of gov't. control, like having several fake driver licenses in different states and basically living under the radar. Makes you wonder if he was onto something. I mean the Federal gov't. isn't exactly getting any smaller now is it?

One of the most.criminally overlooked bands of the 90's by far. This whole album (especially this song and Lullaby) kicked some major ass.
And Corey Clark had phenomenal hair, heh
