  • Hi, when i try to install the fix ultrasnow for iOS 5.0.1 for iphone 4 it says: pre-dependency problem - not installing com.myrepospace.smolk.fixultra­sn0wi4 and Sub-Process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

  • What you need to do guys is edit your SystemVersion.plist file from 5.0.1 to 5.1 and it will install fine. Use iFile from cydia to find it in System/Library/CoreServices

And if can! i need to unlock it and install semitether,,, but if i turn off my phone in semitether and turn on it again without booting with redsnow, will i still be able to make phone call because i unlock it,,, Or will i lost the unlock function till i go home and boot tether again?

  • @TanKsquare If you want to hactivate on 5.0.1 go to my channel and watch my "unlocking playlist" its on the right. i also have videos on how to semi-untether jailbreak just watch my "Jailbreaking Playlist"

  • @IphoneInformant Thanks you for your quick reply... And may i know if i have install semitether and have switch off my phone, and switch on again without going to my computer to boot tether. That mean i cannot use any jailbreak app in that mode... Will i still be able to make phone call with the unlock function because i depend on the unlock?

    I've tried this with ultrasn0w installed and removed - same issues?
