He rants about how deeply involved he is in the part, how the depth of charcaterisation demands his absolute engagement as an actor if he is to do the role justice and it's Terminator-fucking-Salvation.

He sounds like he's appearing in a great work of art, not a tawdry cash-in action franchise sequel.

Like Jude Law, Bale has reached that point where he has been so cossetted and surrounded by sychophants that he can't interact with normal people anymore.

OK listen the lighting guy was wrong to walk by during the scene ok, HOWEVER all he had to say was excuse me could you not walk by during the scene, it's a little distracting. The lighting guy would've said ok no problem sorry and moved on. The lighting guy didn't do it to purposely fuck with Christian, so him attacking him like that for almost 4 fucking minutes was childish, unprofessional and unnecessary. Period.

Keep in mind, it was Christian Bale's loss of focus on the scene, not the lighting guy losing his. The lighting guy did not step into the scene. To let go on him deserves a reaction from the public to show he can't do that.

I'll avoid the cinema release, then pick up the movie on DVD later for this movie.
