300 wins is not what you base going to the hall on anymore. Its just not logical. They both should be in and i think the writers know that. Pedro and Moose are locks. Three hundred wins isn't the magic number anymore.
If they say every pitcher with 100 wins over 500 gets into the Hall of Fame then what about Pedro Martinez? He's getting to retire too. Won 20 twice, but only 214-99. Career ERA of 2.91. Does 214 wins keep him out or does the 115 wins over 500 get him in?
