For people on mac, you can use QuickTime Player which comes with audio recording, also screen recording, and you can use Xilisoft video converter, once you have your gameplay on your computer you can open both the audio, and the gamplay and merge them together, pm me if you need help

@TheSadGamer1 you can combine your recorded gameplay and your voice recording onto iMovie or Windows Movie Maker (Windows Live Movie Maker). I think both programs allows you to directly upload your video to Youtube.

thanks, I'm going to try this. I tried using fraps with its built in voice recorder so I could record live commentary on SF4 PC game, but I always have to disable the option to record the sound of the game because it always overpowers my voice. I do it now all through the mic, but now my voice overpowers the game. Hopefully I can get this audacity thing to give me better results.

@max29k after you record your voice on audacity, click file and scroll down to export. then you can save the audio file. and make sure your video file is saved as well. You can then put the two files together on some sort of movie making program like Windows Movie Maker, Windows Live Movie Maker, or iMovie.

@XxSeeXyxX well, you can use a webcam if you want. But I prefer using a headset with an attached microphone to it. You get better sound quality with that. And after you record the video footage and your voice (these are 2 separate files). You can overlap these files on a movie program (like iMovie or Windows movie maker/Windows Live movie maker). @tehNoobEatingRat oh i put the tv on mute and then i plug my headphones into my computer. The Dazzle will pick up the audio from the tv and you can hear it if you plug your headphones into the computer :)

@SmR400 well since i record using my dazzle (and pinnacle studios), you can watch on pinnacle studios...or after you actually make the video, you can put it on windows movie maker or windows live movie maker and watch it there.

@FreezeMister8 ya so i record my gameplay using my dazzle and my voice using audacity (i run both programs at the same time). and then i combine them in windows movie maker and i have to manually match up the video to my commentary (which can be sometimes tricky). :)

@TEBA247 ya i have the same problem all the time too. the audacity unfortunately can screw up the footage that you record. The only options I can think of are using two different computers at once (which I do), using one to record the gameplay and then the other to record your voice. Or you can do post recording commentary. :( Sorry that you are having this problem too.
