my great uncle lost a leg in the trenches. my great uncle on my moms side was a spy in world war 2, passing notes in a discreet way as a mailman. my great grandfather on my dads side was a tailgunner in a b-29. my uncle is a mp who has been in africa and iraq. my grandmother was a military doctor who rose to leuitennant colonel befire being retired. i may join them in valor someday...
My grea grea granfather was killed in the cavalry. I dont know where. He was from Cork in Ireland. Although he was not an irish nationalist im proud of his Sacrafice, he didnt die for any crown, any forgein crown for that matter, he died trying to feed his familly.

Excellent video.
5 stars.
WWI was at that time, the war to end all wars.
As we now know, it was not.
It was an awful war to be in.
A lot of soldiers died in some very ugly ways.
My grandfather wanted to enlist, but he was too young at the time.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

Nicely done. If you ever do another montage like this, a good tune would be Battle of the Somme.
