normally those ducts are set on the hood for downforce, it helps on slalom and fast turning on cars with heavy understearing or to control a overstearing cars turning, in this case, the ducts are solid and serve no purpose as well as it looks like shit..

I think they were going for the F50 look there, but I'd say they failed miserably. On the F50, those ducts bring the air from the front grille through the radiator and up through the ducts in the hood, but here, they apparently don't do shit except waste someone's money, because I don't see any place where air comes through. They could have been cut out later though, IDK.

Well what can be said is I do not like the way it looks but it is the Hamann hood for the 360, it was made to be functional and it is. May not like the look but it works which is more than can be said for most people throwing carbon fibre hoods on their cars.

Personally I prefer Imola and Novitec if your going to mod a Ferrari.

this 'hood' is useless because the actural VENTED version of this hood is to suck out hot air from the engine bay, so this being a 360 modena the engine is in the rear, and the hood is not acturally vented it is only for looks, and whats worst because it is made the way it is is will only create drag!!!! so i really want to know...

Don't know where the radiator is situated, but if it was mounted up front, that design would work...it can still draw away hot air from the radiator.
