The original GNR made 2 great albums...Appetite and Lies....and that's it. In my high school days they were huge, and back then I would put up with his voice but now when checking old recorded live videos etc I find it annoying. Yes, I still love Appetite and Lies...but GNR were never the same after those 2. Use Your Illusion had a very crappy rhythm guitar sound and tone. We have to be honest here - that attitude was the beginning of the end of the Greatest band that ever existed. Axl didn't need a high heels to stand out of the crowd - his EGO was enough. on one hand that is an illness attached to most of the geniuses, but on the other it ruined the band. If only Axl was able to play in a team, and just enjoy the ride, they could be larger than life not even hitting their 30's. Some would say drugs, alcohol etc ruined it, but face it, it was Mr Rose himself.

And being as how Axl is unpredictable with his mood, he took the "No flash photography" rule at the venue a little too close to heart. If you ask me, that's bullshit. The thing is, when the audience started to go crazy, they were still in the arena. Once Axl chilled a bit, they tried to go back on stage like 20 minutes or more after that, and they could not because the riot had started. So they got out of the place.
