I first "found" Conny here on YT. Since seeing Lady Sunshine und Mr Moon 6 months ago, I have really enjoyed her work. BUT after hearing this song, I have fallen hopelessly and completely IN LOVE! What a voice, my feet haven't touched the ground in almost a week.

Wish we had access to her movies on this side of the pond. Wonder if she has ever performed on Broadway? Warum konnte ich nicht die erste gewesen?

@losmeme isn't this song something? I've been listening to it since I was a small kid and never, ever get tired of it. Conny is still performing in the theater today... she's won so many awards it's hard to keep track of. Lady Sunshine und Mr Moon is a wonderful song... there are many vids up here of it. Conny is such a talented singer, and actress, her movies are just great. What country are you in? Do you check in eBay or Amazon?

in 1965 i bought an album oof her's after hearing her played on munich radio. it was a greatest hits album and she was refered to as "germany's sweetheart". it was a us printing and was wonderful. my favorite songs by her are "lieber disc jockey" und "such das gluck des lebens". sorry, no umlaut on our keyboards over here,

@rj5347tamu isn't this a gorgeous song? I've loved it since I was a kid. I'm actually in Canada just over the USA border but I have tons of multi-cultural music and Conny is one of my absolute favorites. She's a fine actress too - she's still involved in theatre to this day. I have a contact quite close to her, and Conny has sent me personalized autographed photos after seeing the few vids I have done... you can imagine how thrilled I am. She is one remarkable woman. thanks for your comment

Quite a fan here, everything she does has class, too much so to have been imported into the U.S. unfortunately. I have watched your vids for years, and you seem to be a Conny authority. Maybe you could tell me why her eyes are different color in many photos, sometimes brown, sometimes green, sometimes blue?

@kathrynandnorahayes oh yes, Conny is a very classy woman. She still is today and looks just great. I grew up with her music among others when I was a kid in the 1960s-my home is Canada, just on the USA border. I think they altered photos of Conny to make her eyes different colours, it's easy to do. She could have worn coloured contact lenses but I doubt that, I think it is photo-altering. I'm not an authority but I do know some things about her and do love the woman! Thanks for writing!

@VictrolaJazz it does sound a lot like the Apartment doesn't it!! Conny IS loveliness! She is just a beautiful woman from the inside out. To me this song is like Sixteen Reasons by Connie Stevens... you can picture the mirror ball, crowded dance hall, lovers slow-dancing... terrific
